i like the 2 part cover idea I think the blanked out person is Fred, why else miss out illyria from the cover. I would guess that the guy with guns in the varient cover is Wes, I would like to see lynsay back in some form when everyone has forgotten about him.

I like the Variant cover too. I would Love it if it wasn't for Gwen's pose...what is up with that stance?! She looks like she is walking to work on muscle tone in her legs.

Whats with Gwen being everywhere? She's cool and all, but she was hardly in the show. And not a main character. I guess they need more women since they screwed Cordelia over. Bring back Cordy! The art for this one is amazing! Very true to life. And the variant is exceptional. Can't wait! Prepare for spoiler: images.tfaw.com/covers_tfaw/400/fe/feb083847e.jpgSure looks like Cordy to me.

I really love Cordy, but I hope she's not back for good...her story is just played out. But then again, this being the first issue of First Night, I wonder how she will fit into the story?

Oh great they're about to fuck up one of the show's most perfect exits.
I get bringing back characters because laziness and it tickles the lamer fans but how about ones that didn't clearly play out and die on screen?

I get bringing back characters because laziness and it tickles the lamer fans but how about ones that didn't clearly play out and die on screen? I dunno I think we should wait until we jump to conclusions. Just because Cordy (if it's actually her, it's hard to tell) makes an appearance in First Night doesn't mean she's back from the dead. It may play into what happened to Angel and how he became human or whatever he is now. Bryan said over at whedonesque that the story involving this person (he wouldn't say who it was) is the writing he's most proud of thus far doing Angel. That's quite a statement. I'm excited to see how it pans out.

It could be any female from the show. And it is in the First Night series...not the main...so wouldnt be permanent even if it was. I for one am just sitting back and enjoying the excellent ride we are getting. Not making any assumptions or conclusions. And man am I enjoying the ride so far!

Oh great they're about to [censored!] up one of the show's most perfect exits. I get bringing back characters because laziness and it tickles the lamer fans but how about ones that didn't clearly play out and die on screen? What you said really frustrated me! I for one hated how Cordy was treated in season 4 and although her exit in season 5 kind of redeemed her character and gave her a proper ending I would love to see her come back in some form. I would not want her to come back as a living human but maybe some "power that be" where she had some kind of influence and tilted the scale so that Angel et all had a fighting chance. Besides her "death" was very ambiguous. Cordy was in the entire episode as a physical, living being and then she disappeared, there is no reason why she could not come back in the form she did then. I'm not Lame and I am not a Lame fan so [censor] off! :xp: If that was to harsh I'm sorry and I usually like what you have to say but you really hit a nerve with me on that comment.

Here is the full cover. It does look like Cordellia to me. If it is her she has went back to her look form Season three. I am not sure about this her ending to the series was excellant but I'll wait and see After The Fall seems to be really picking up, I wasn't too keen at first but I'm really getting into it now.

Paul, we added the cover above. Is it the same picture? Or is it a larger version?? For some reason it's not letting me open your attachment.

How about you wait until you read the comic before getting all hot and bothered, bucko. I'm guessing it's going to be more similar to Darla's appearance in Season Four than an actual resurrection. In other words, 'not for good.'

(season 3 of buffy) anyways, if brian is bringing back cordy, this better be a damn good story.. if not it will ruin her perfect ending in episode 100...

I first thought Fred, then Cordy but now I'm thinking we could have a 1st comic Buffy/angel cross over, so I'm going with Keneddy. my theory is willow was on the astral plane and saw what was happening. Wolfram and heart probably have the dimension seal against teleportation but maybe spirits or inadament objects can be sent there. Kennedy tells willow in #10 she'd die for willow and she did, magically Angel said it all started with a girl, face to transparent face and the world had changed So to sumarise Willow sends ghost Keneddy to hell to tell Angel and friends about the EYE OF RAMAS keneddy finds Gunn and spills secret, KR'PH over hears and gets it first. keneddys spirit is summoned back by willow and then she needs time to sort herself out as spending a month in hell is no picnic. What do ya think?

Eh I doubt it's Kennedy or anyone from Buffy. It's a character from ANGEL that we've seen before, we know that much.
I bet it's Cordy, and I'm just curious as to how they work her into the story of First Night. I doubt they're bringing her back to life, that would be stupid, but I think we should all be patient and see how it works out before rushing to judgement.
