Watched the episode Him last night and a little thing bothered me about the spelled jacket. What specifically does the spell do? I know what the episode mentioned was that it was a love spell but it doesn't seem to work on all the females of Sunnydale. Besides the couple girls in the school and the regular female cast members no other female really went after him in a possessive/stalker-like way. So does it only work on certain females and if only certain females what is the criteria? Just that one unanswered question bugged me. It wasn't really a love spell, was it? More of a let-things-go-my-way spell? I can't remember. I thought it was a love/lust-spell type spell mostly because that's what Willow and Anya mentioned when doing research and also the reaction the females had toward RJ. Other than that I have no idea if that was the actual type of spell that was used.

Are you sure it wasn't a popularity spell? Seeing as the jacket was also worn by his sporty/loved-by-everyone older brother.

Maybe it's an "I'm awesome" spell. Maybe eric cast it on himself.

Eric can't have cast an I'm-awesome spell on himself, 'cos he's the only one who thinks he's awesome!

The jacket's effect could likely depend on length of exposure and the personality and sexual appetite of the individual. We don't see a very large friend group around RJ so only the boy's two competing girls got really far into it. Things got out of hand when he came into contact with the scooby-girls: sexually active, between partners, and capable of quite dramatic things compared to a back alley cat-fight. High School should be somewhat innocent too, so it's likely other girls in the jacket's thrawl mostly just sat at home writing poems or whatever lol.

Willow saying that re-ensouling Angel was her first spell. De-inviting Angel was her first spell. Who forgets their first spell?

Apparently a lot of people do. Giles says something similar about a first casting in season 1.. or 2 but then it's later revealed that he had that whole dark past. lol

I was watching Family last nite and the thing that has always bugged me is when Spike is fighting one of the demons (I wont even try and spell it lol) and he uses one of the weapons off the training room wall, and its clearly cross shaped with a blade on top...SURELY the cross shape would have harmed spike??!!! Im sure we have seen crosses attached to other things that cause an affect to vamps.

Willow saying that re-ensouling Angel was her first spell. De-inviting Angel was her first spell. Who forgets their first spell? I totaly forgot that. First I thought that Willow re-ensouling was the first, then I remembered/it was pointed out to me that she did one in I Only Have Eyes For You, and I thought that was the first, and now this. My memory sucks. And so does Willow's. I feel ashame yet comforted.

Ok in Angel Wolfram and Heart have the Vampire detection thing right? but then it doesn't go off when Dru and Darla break in? And then Lindsay mentions something about it later in the scene and you know it's because the writer went 'oh right... oops' and added it in. Like in What's My Line how Buffy comes in through the window even though her mom's out of town and they're like 'oh we'll just say it's out of habit'. fail. lol

^^ You think that while filming the scene in What's my line they realized that she shouldn't come through the window and instead of re-doing the scene with Buffy coming in through the door, they felt the need to add that? I seriously doubt that. It's not impossible that's what happened, I just don't think that it's more likely than it being planned from the beginning.
I assume it's the same about the Ats scene, but I can't remember which scene you meant (and it was a long time since I watched Ats S2), but I still assume it was planned.

it's in the commentary they realized the error and so they added the line to explain it off because they didn't want to rewrite the whole scene or something.

Oh. Now I feel like a jacka**.
And that scene doesn't seem as great anymore. But I do see Buffy forgetting that she doesn't have to come in through the window.

Season 5, "Spiral."
I know a Winnebago isn't the most powerful of vehicles, but surely one can outrun a horse.

Some people's hair darken with age... so if "Killed by Death" Buffy is older than "Weight of the World" Buffy, it could make sense. Or hey... sunbleached hair?

Little Buffy was brunette in killed by death? Are you sure it wasn't dirty blonde (I'm not saying your wrong. I just I cannot remember for the life of me. But if she was brunette that's seriously gonna bother me).

^It's true. That always bugged the crap out of me as well. I think that mistake was with the casting or whatever. It is true hair color get's darker with age, but not that dark that quick.
