Checked some screencaps... methinks it's possible that the girl's a dirty blonde, but her hair looks darker because of the funky lighting.

My brother tells me off for saying this but my friends agree, young Buffy in the weight of the world looks like a boy with long hair.

There are a couple of scenes, one I think it's in "No Place Like Home" where the scene Buffy and Dawn are talking at the end you can see a boom mic in the corner, unless I was just going crazy seeing it but I think it was there. Also, there are multiple scenes throughout the series where a door gets kicked in or smashed down and you can clearly see the cable attached to the door to pull it away. I notice it every time. In Glory's first appearance when she busts the steel door down you can see the cable, and in "Showtime" when the Turok Han busts in you can see it as well.

I actually like the "young Buffy" that they used later in the series, much better than the "Buffy" they used in Killed by Death. The younger Buffy was so much cuter, imo. I love her.

Spike's stunt double. He is definitely the most obvious of compared to everyone else. It's all about the hair. It was so obvious in every single Spike fight scene. There's James! There's his stunt double.

Some people's hair darken with age... so if "Killed by Death" Buffy is older than "Weight of the World" Buffy, it could make sense. Or hey... sunbleached hair? Everyone in my family starts off with very, very light blond hair as a young child, then ends up a sort of sandy light brown by high school. But Buffy's seems to reverse course -- light blond at 6 in "Weight of the World" (she and Dawn are about six years apart); medium brown/blond in "Killed by Death" at age 8; then blond again by the time of the series. I guess she could bleach it -- actually, isn't SMG's natural hair color somewhat darker? -- but it seems unlikely, later in the series, that she'd bother. (Edit: Looks like this is SMG's natural color.)

I think there is at least one scene, unless I was going out of my mind in that moment, but I swore I saw a boom mic in "No Place Like Home". If not, then I really was out of my mind and I apologize lol

I don't think we were suppose to believe otherwise. The pic you linked to is lighter than what I remember her hair being pre-Buffy. Of course, she could have been coloring then too. -EDIT Come to think off it, maybe her roots showed more on the promo images than on the show. I would have to re-watch to know for sure how visible her natural colors were.

In First Date Robin Wood doesn't realize Spike is a vampire until he changes into vamp-face. However shouldn't he have known in the car when Spike's reflection didn't show up in the rearview mirror?

Haha. That is a really good point! I can't believe I didn't think of that before! Also, I can't believe the writers' let that one slip by!

In the first episode they all make such a big deal of the dead guy in the locker. But surely before Buffy arrived the hellmouth had no slayer so it would have been like the alternate dimension in the wish, with vampires everywhere.
Also, the cage in the library is capable of holding a big string werewolf, yet in The Pack it's pulled apart by four students (I'm assuming they didn't have super strength).
And why is there a cage in a highschool library?

Is there a reference at some point in S1 to the Hellmouth becoming more active after a period of relative dormancy? I can't remember. I don't know if that's so weird. There's a cage in my office ... it's where you put the things that are important enough that you don't want to just leave them out, but not important enough to bother locking up in a secure closet. (Also, a cage is relatively easy to create, requiring less in the way of materials and labor than creating a secure, locked room.)

But surely before Buffy arrived the hellmouth had no slayer so it would have been like the alternate dimension in the wish, with vampires everywhere. Since they seemt on have the memory of a goldfish, as if they forget horrible things easily, I guess they always freak out when they see bodies. I got a weird image of students floating around in a tank, going round and round, always freaking out at the same corpse everytime they pass it. I think they might have had some super strength, since I recall Xander give Buffy a bigger fight than he normaly could (maybe I'm remembering it wrong) but that is still weird. And I would guess the cage is for rare books. In Sweden, the libraries put away certain books that are fragile or get's stolen a lot and take them out when people ask for them. Like for example Hitler's book or the very expensive law book. I think it's hilarious that it's the law book that often get's stolen.

There's his stunt double. Lol I know. Saw this in School Hard and could tell cuz the hair wasn't as slicked back and the face looked bulky-ish, not slim like James. Then again in Harsh Day, where Buffy and Spike are fighting around the pole and before he slams her against it. He looked like such a huge blockhead

It bothered me how early on in the series whenever there was a problem they couldn't get out of Angel would magically appear and save the day.
