As some of you may [or may not] know I am an avid gamer as well as a Nintendo fanboy. I'm not hardcore and insane, so I do enjoy the 360...and wish I had a PS3! But my true love is always gonna be the Big N, and more specifically Zelda. The Legend of Zelda games have be a staple for my entire life ever since the original NES days! Last week Nintendo teased the next installment in the series, for the Wii. Needless to say I have been scouring the interwebs daily for any new morsel of information about this game! I'm really hoping for something with nice graphics, amazing control, and a simply epic story. Something to rival Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64). Check out a HI RES (very very) poster! Now, people on various Nintendo forums speculate that the girl behind link is the Master Sword in human form. True, she does bear a striking resemblance in her motif...but she also looks exactly like the Queen of the Faeries from Wind Waker. Just a little older, and with a new outfit: Look at both images. There's no denying that it's her! I'm amped for the game, and it looks like this Link will be a little older.

It sucks we have to wait another year before we actually see it, unless Nintendo decided to show the game at TGS or something later this year. I also think the girl is the Master Sword in human form, which will be interesting if true. I am also a huge Nintendo fanboy. I have owned more Nintendo consoles than anything else: SNES Nintendo 64 Gamecube Wii Gameboy Gameboy Color Gameboy Advance DS Lite Then for non-Nintendo: Sony PlayStation 2 Sony PlayStation 3 I love Mario and Zelda and bought a Wii just to continue playing those titles. While the PS3 is my preferred system, I still enjoy playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii and am looking forward to New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is my favorite game after the Resident Evil series.

I have massive Zelda love. The first console I ever owned myself was the N64, and it was OOT that really sold me on gaming in general back in the winter of 1998. However, my fav (and possibly fav game of all time) is Majora's Mask. That game just took everything from OOT and expanded it, gave it so much more character and added a kickass story that ruled the mechanic of the whole game. Running around Clock Town still gives me so much joy. Anyone else here prefer Majora's Mask to Ocarina?
