Okay, so with IDW, we got all these Season 5-themed miniseries before actually getting into post-Season 5. Okay, that, I understand.
But since After the Fall, there's all these miniseries that I'm having trouble following.
So from what I understand, of the actual new series, there is:
After the Fall #1-17 Aftermath #18-22 Become What You Are #23 Drusilla #24-25 etc etc etc
And I know that Spike: After the Fall #1-4 is its own series and it takes place before Angel: After the Fall. But where do "Blood and Trenches", "Only Human", and "Fallen Angel" fit in?
Thanks in advance! (I'm asking because I'm considering collecting the Angel comics now)

I think Blood and trenches goes on during WW2, but I can't remember. It's in the past, that's for sure.
Not sure about Fallen Angel, heard it goes on during season 5. Check the fallen angel thread in the library-section.
Only human has it's own thread as well, but from what I remember/imagine it's after angel after the fall and maybe aftermath. Only human is supposebly based on issue 23 in the ongoing series, so read that first I guess.

Fallen Angel I believe takes place after 5x19 "Time Bomb" when Illyria's power has been drained. She's traveling into the FA world to get her powers back is the basis of the story.

An easy way to look at things:
ANGEL: AFTER THE FALL #1-17 takes place after "Not Fade Away" ANGEL 18 and on... (this includes "Aftermath," "Become What You Are," the Drusilla issues, and everything that follows with this numbering. The titles don't separate these really, and aren't featured in the actual comics any more. This is just the on going, "present" series)
ANGEL: ONLY HUMAN 1-4 (this just tells what happens to Gunn and Illyria after #23 as they go on a side adventure)
ANGEL: BLOOD & TRENCHES (Angel's World War I adventure)
FALLEN ANGEL: REBORN 1-4 (this is a part of a different series, called Fallen Angel. That went on for a while at IDW before ending. It starts up with this new numbering, and Illyria appears in this four part story. It is during Season Five, AFTER "Time Bomb."

Ooooh, okay, thanks for clearing that up. Now are there any other miniseries going on that I haven't mentioned?
Also... are these other series canon?

Ooooh, okay, thanks for clearing that up. Now are there any other miniseries going on that I haven't mentioned? Not yet. There's an Angelus one-shot and a special Angel annual issue coming out eventually, but the timing of those will come to light later. Depends who you ask. Based on the information we've gotten, there is strong support for "yes" being the answer to some, and "no" being the answer to some. I come to the "yes" conclusion, because Armstrong said that Joss Whedon (not his offices) approved her storyline ("Aftermath"), and also the fact that we won't be getting any Joss penned Angel stories any time soon (or ever, I think), so this is pretty much all we're getting. And I, for one, and enjoying the hell out of most of it.

Is there anywhere that archives the release dates for every Angel issue? (As well as future ones?)

Is there anywhere that archives the release dates for every Angel issue? (As well as future ones?) Chris Ryall's blog is the only official source for Angel release dates. We find out every weekend before a new issue is released. So since Angel #23 is coming out on July 1st (Ryall confirmed in the comments section on his blog), he will make a post the weekend before detailing all of IDW's new releases for the week of July 1st. EDIT- Oh and the IDW e-mail newsletter also has release dates in it, and that comes out every month.
