Looks like Farrah Fawcett has succumbed to her battle with cancer. Surprisingly just hours later, it has just been reported that Michael Jackson has recently passed from cardiac arrest. He's been so sickly for years now, I wonder what was wrong with him. RIP

Wow that's pretty surprising about Michael. It sounds like Farrah's cancer got pretty rough at the end. That's a shame about both. R.I.P.

He was an entertainment legend, no doubt. I still have reservations about him as a person tho... just sayin.
Farrah really is a tragedy. I was so hoping she would recover. I heard she married Ryan O'Neil (her long-time partner) days before she died.
Sooo sad.

So depressing. Losing one is bad enough but both...it's just so horrible. No comment on Michael Jackson's personal issues, but he was an amazing musician & I'm sorry he will never be able to share his talent with future generations. As for Farrah, cancer is just a horrible way to go. I can only hope she was surrounded by people who loved her.

A very sad day. Two icons now lost. I was only vaguely familiar with Farrah's work, be it on Charlie's Angels (I was only a wee nipper at the time) or from the odd TV movie after it. But her beautiful image is burned in to the public consciousness so deeply that I feel like I know far more of her work than I actually do. Michael Jackson I am much more familiar with. How can anyone not be? But whatever else he may or may not have been, he WAS a true musical legend. In modern music arguably only Elvis and The Beatles have had as much impact and achieved the same levels of mythic and beloved status. The trilogy of Off the Wall, Thriller and Bad with Quincy Jones is one hell of an awesome legacy, with Thriller still being the world’s best selling album ever. Rest in peace Michael and Farrah

Not going to lie, I was messed up yesterday. I watched coverage of Michael's death all day on MSNBC. I cried, I felt depressed, and shocked.
To think that he was possibly alone, certainly lonely, and suffering just tears me up. This man was the single most beloved, celebrated, awarded, and ridiculed musicians in history. Like it or not, he is bigger than Elvis and bigger than The Beatles. His career began when he was six years old and ended yesterday. It makes me sad that he never got his comeback, like he wanted. His whole life's work thrown aside due to defaming allegations of child molestation that never were proven true! Yet people hate him for it. No matter what anyone says, no one can take away the simple fact...
There will never be anyone on this earth that has done what he has done. That will never happen again. He is a legend, and an inspiration for MILLIONS of people worldwide.

RIP Farrah and Michael.
I do have one thing to say though. They both died on the same day but everyone seems to have forgotten Farrah and everything on TV is about Michael. It kinda pisses me off.
