Thanks to Emmie, I am now addicted to drabbles and will now share my favorite kind, "Monobles" or monologue drabbles. And the first one goes to... my gal Illyria.
I will take requests here! I don't really do fanfiction much so I don't have a specialized place for it, but I love you guys and want to share so
Time Was
Character: Illyria
To Slay
Character: Connor
Warning: Violent and squeamish descriptions. I are teh disturbed
A Wreath of Tea Leaves

This device displays an arbitrary measurement of time. Tick, tock, tick, tock. I was once time. I was once the wave of movements pressing all things forward, the force that was the beginning and end of all things. This round mechanism knows nothing of force, or movement. Only tick, tock, tick, tock. Incessant. Incapable of understanding, of being… and me, in this human shell, also incapable of being what I am, what I should be! I should be time! I should be the force engaging these humans. I ought to be the tick and the tock. Tick, tock, tick, tock.

Holtz, my “father”, once taught me the ways to slay a vampire. Stake to heart, sunlight or any other method of bringing fire, or… beheading. Head, heart, fire. An unholy trinity. One could squeeze the neck so hard the head pops right off. Or shove it backwards onto a wooden splinter lying in wait. But crucifixes: truly mighty. Shove a crucifix right in its face and it burns with an unpleasant look in its eyes. The burning sensation… the defilement of their existence burns right off it. So many ways to slay; can it be tortured? I long to discover.
A Wreath of Tea Leaves
Character: Adelle DeWitt
Warnings: mild alcoholic content (so, like, an hour after Spike's been in the pub, you go visit his liver)
Tea is the scientific culmination of peace, tranquility, and agriculture. It is a soothing delight to the maimed soul. I used to wonder what a world without tea would be like. Rossum, in its infinite wisdom, has in turn made the world an Active. My "fantasy" made manifest. Here in my office, what to drink? Vodka or tea? Would it change a thing? Vodka will not calm me, and tea will not save Topher. Not anymore. Inside, we cling to the dregs of tea leaves long dried up. Outside, Molotov rules the world. And tea? It will soon be extinct.
The Easy
Character: Inara
I left because it was simple. Easy. We had entered into an agreement – a mutually beneficial business arrangement that allowed the two of us to thrive. I gave him presence, he gave me direction. Easy. I conducted my affairs openly, and he allowed me to do so, begrudgingly of course, but allowed it nonetheless. And for the lost souls that passed through, I became a mom. Even that, surprisingly, was easy. But it had to end. One thing led to another. It was no longer a business arrangement. It was no longer simple, or easy. So I left. End log.
