So I just finished reading the not fade away adaptation that came out today and then started thinking about how Exactly Angel becomes Human in After the fall. I remember reading that in issue four of ATF that he got teleported and instantly broke his legs when he jumped but I can't figure out what the catalyst that made it happen was. Then When I saw the seen from NFA when he bit hamilton and drank from the blood of the partners. Maybe the blood gave him extra strength at first and changed him into a human in mid battle? Any thoughts?

Wolfram and Hart turned him human when they transported him into hell.
My personal fanwank is that they were able to do this because he signed a contract with them. Like, they could only do that to Angel and not just any random vampire (except maybe Gunn who also happened to have a contract).
He was a vampire when he fought Hamilton, he was still a vampire in the alleyway, it was only when he was teleported to the rooftop that he suddenly became human. It happened at the same time as the city being dropped into Hell.

That seems believable. IF I had seen that on screen for like a sixth season tho it would probably have been kinda cheesy being like poof by the way angel bcuz u got poofed now your human lol

Especially if the events of "First Night" were shown first. Angel jumps off the roof, breaks his legs, then Wesley appears and we find out he's human. That would have been HUGE.

Hahaha. I can't believe you just used "huge" that way, Paris.
But I agree, that would have been awesome to see. After the Fall just had a big screen feel to it. A big epic movie trilogy.

Knowing Joss they'd have delayed it like they did with the comics for a lil bit just to keep us salivating

I still feel like it had something to do with Hamilton's blood. I think it gave them some kind of control over him that they never had before. I also think that since they had the Shanshu Prophecy in their possession they could cash it in on Angel in their created Hell.

Nah, it doesn't have anything to do with Hamilton's blood. Not a bad idea at all though.
