I had to tell you this as I can't believe it. Our local Blockbuster (Maple Ridge, BC, Canada) has Dr. Horrible on its shelves. Amazing! I already own it, but hey - it is out there and more will see it.
They have in in the Up for an Emmie / Award section.

Blockbuster has a section for that? *has not been in a Blockbuster in maybe 8 years*
Cool. Maybe I can convince my mom to rent it and give it another shot. >_<

I don't know if any other Blockbusters will carry it - I'm in Canada and I think they have some freedom in what they stock.
I'll buy them when they are on sale as previously viewed DVD's and give them away.

But I saw it at a Barnes & Nobel in Manhattan after school one day and literally spent my weekly lunch money on it I started freaking out and the people I was with were like "wtf?" ... they aren't Whedonites.

Wow! I didn't know you could get the DVD is stores. I just assumed it was an Amazon.com exclusive. Of course from the sound of it though I still don't think it's something you can easily find. Hopefully this is a sign that Dr. Horrible is about to get more widely distributed.

Yea, Barnes and Nobel had just gotten it in and that was back in June, so I think it will be around. Its intensely epic so it makes sense that it would gain popularity.

I'm glad Blockbuster has Doctor Horrible. It really upsets me when they seem not to carry stuff because it isn't mainstream enough.

Our public library has Dr. Horrible, I was shocked that they even had it, it's how I saw it the first time.

I wonder that too. It has been checked out quite frequently though. I always check whenever I go to see if it's there, or if someone checked it out, it's usually gone most of the time.
