Hai  Ok--so I just moved in with the boyfriend and am still on my mom's Verizon family plan. We're thinking about getting a family plan of our own, but not picky about carriers. I want a big fancy phone, without the hefty data plan of a blackberry or iPhone. He's not picky about phones and will probably get whatever is free  Is it possible to get internet access through your phone--at decent quality--and not pay the $30 a month fee? Like... I'm looking at the Samsung Eternity from AT&T. Can I get a faux-iPhone without the exorbitant price? |

my brothers is cool cos it has internet and a qwerty keyboard, that's the only thing i like about mobiles

nokia N-73, i get $130 worth of calls for $29 so not too bad i also dont really care for bells and whistles i hardly even use the camera on it

What do you have? Sprint LG Rumor  It's a nice little phone. I've had it for about a year - year and a half I guess. I never texted before I got this phone, but it is just so easy and quick, I love doing it. My carrier is Sprint. What would you like? I want a really nice phone next time I upgrade, so either an iPhone (if they switch to Sprint), or a Blackberry. Hopefully when I find a good job.

A very old Nokia with a black and white screen being held together with sellotape but I get 500 free texts and it has snake soo... you win some you lose some.

What questions have you been itching to ask? About you Becca? or about cell (mobile) phones?  Did I just get asked for my number? Wyndam, that looks like a very respectable phone. If I cannot afford a fancy doo-dad when the time comes, I may have to go with a QWERTY slider like the Rumor. What do you have?

The iPhone (I think) has a very nice web-browsing feature, plus syncing with my iTunes (I have an iPod, which is tiny), and apps which I understand the equivalent are available on other similar phones. Apparently the iPhone is the epitome of touch-screen phones, and everything has been playing catch up since its release... no disrespect to your very shiny Blackberry Storm, which also has me drooling. LOL @ Insanity's Curse. Hmm... no answer to my question on data plans. That's ok, I can wait. My middle name is Patience. (That's not true, but it may as well be) |

I have a purple Sony Ericsson. I can't remember the name. It's old and doesn't work properly but it's pretty to look at I'd like a new one, at some point, but I can't afford it and I don't care that much. |

Contracts over very soon, so new phone for me! Hurrah! I'll probably try to pick up a Blackberry.

I have an LG Chocolate. It's the 2nd version I think. Still a slider, but not in those ugly cotton candy colors. I've got the dark red.
I actually really like it. It's kind of falling apart, and its only a year old, but it works for me. A qwerty keyboard would be nice, but I'm willing to wait until my phone has some serious damage to upgrade.

My friend just got a 3G for $99 and he doesn't have to pay for a data plan... just a $30 fee in addition to his minutes to pay for unlimited messaging and web access... I could totally do that.

 It's a 5 year old Audiovox piece of crap. It used to be my mom's, but I've had it for about a year and a half now. Every time I make even the shortest call, it gets super hot and I think it's melting. Luckily though, my contract runs out in December so I'm gonna get a shiny new phone! I really want an iPhone, but I don't see that happening. |

After. Pretty much gorgeous, right? *NODS* So shiny... and pink. Loves! I just have an iPod touch, but it's like my baby. I love that thing! As for my phone, I have a Motozine ZN5 which I just got.  It came with my plan so I can't complain too much. I like the great camera, but the keypad is a little weird. |

I had a Samsung A5H01 or something like that when it suddenly crashed on me and no longer works, so I transferred my SIM into a 2001 model piece of crap. The only good about it is Snake and that's it. Seriously want a new phone, just don't know which one
