Anyone fans of Scrubs? I love the show, but I am not too sure about this new season. They are making some huge changes, and the setting has been changed from the hospital to the classroom, with Dr. Cox and Turk as professors. This is slightly old news, but I just came across the article below: ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/06/19/scrubs-moving-from-hospital-to-med-school/I guess it all depends on the writing and the cast, but I'm skeptical. We'll see very little of JD, Elliot, Carla, etc. and we may never see the Janitor again, unless his new show gets canceled (and I wish him the best of luck).

I'm skeptical too. I was never a huge fan of Scrubs, but I did keep up with it. I doubt I will watch Season 9 though.

I'll be watching with an open mind, but I'm skeptical about it nonetheless.

Yeah, the 8th Season Finale really seemed like a Series Finale. This jawn should be called Scrubs: The Next Generation, or something like that.

Hmmm, I'm a little worried about this. I mean, it's great that they're not giving up on the show - but if it really flopps it's going to tarnish the scrubs love just a bit. I shall thing of it as... The Other Scrubs, so my mind doesn't confuse it! Hehe. I mean, it could be totally awesome - but then again, without JD and the others as regulars it's not really Scrubs anymore

In all honesty this should have happened yeara ago. The show could have been great fun if it focused on the staff on bottom run. That said, it's too late for change. The show ended at season 8.

i promise you that it will either get cancelled after this year, or it'll change names and become a completely new show which will run for hmm... 2 seasons after that... but it's gonna bomb without Sarah Chalke and Zack Braff... and making the switch from the hospital to the classroom is gonna suck.
i loved scrubs... and then it sucked after the musical episode.

They actually had to speed up the musical episode... if you really notice, everything and everyone's moving almost twice as fast as normal... an even talking.

Scrubs dipped but Season 8 was a return to form. It was brilliant.

agreed. it peaked at season 5, started declining after that, then it got back up there in season 8.

I love Scrubs, so I have faith! Although I think it's a bit odd Carla won't be in it a lot considering that Turk and Dr. Cox are supposedly going to be the two lead chraracters. But as long as it makes me fall in love with the new characters just as I have fallen in love with the old ones, it's all good in the hood.

The Season 8 finale was supposed to be her last episode of Scrubs but because of the new direction the show is going they wanted all the original cast to be in the first few episodes in order to ease us into the newbies. So no Carla next season.
