Probably he shoots himself, because a rabbit (representing his subconsciousness that shows him his fears towards the committed relationship) tells him to. He does and she finds him.
Or: Same thing about the rabbit, but he shoots her, so that he can be "free".
Too Far away?

Nope! Too "Donnie Darko," which this is not! Just uses the song.
You, sir, will get a special thanks though! How would you like your name to show up in the credits?

You are talented, Pat. And your main actor is skilled. Just help me a bit, I don´t know if I got it right. Does Charles die on the beach and not in the house and the blood on Chelsea´s dress is his?

Neil, please cover your spoiler! But nah. Charles's wife died way before. She never actually appears physically in the film. You see her death when he falls asleep on the train, and then get confirmation that she died a year ago in Charles's conversation with Gary over lunch. Every time Charles sees her, he's dreaming. When he gets shot by the robber, in his house, he starts to lose blood. As the blood leaves his body and he gets woozy, he imagines seeing his wife. And maybe, as he goes toward the afterlife, he does. But the beach, Chelsea, none of that was really there.
And as for the blood on her dress, she just always appears to him the way she did as she died, as he tells Gary. Thanks for watching! What do you guys think about that last breath over black, though?

Sorry! Yeah, but how to cover? I just put the spoiler-button in the edit post section, but I don´t know how to cover. Could you give an advice? I´m not that crack on these things. Thanks for the explanation and that was my first impression, but then I let it go very arthouse-like out of my mind I liked the breath. It gave the story and Charles closure and you can see the breath either in a positive or negative way. I like that a lot. And I really liked how you let the picture become little unclear a few times, right before the end. You are truly telling through pictures. Awesome.

Aw, I really really loved this. It's amazing how much you can convey in just 11 minutes. Brilliant. Oh, also, I'm glad that robbers like Veronica Mars too, lol.
