Isn't the Dark Tower already a movie? I might be thinking of something else.

The Edge Chronicles would make an awesome series of fantasy films. I'd love to see them animated or stop motion Coraline style by Henry Selick.
Also Bag Of Bones by Stephen King would make a fantastic film. Im shocked there hasnt been any kind of film/tv adaptation made of it.

For me, it would be either The Circle Trilogy or the Sign of Seven Trilogies by Nora Roberts.

i totally agree with the stephanie plum and Amelia Atwater-Rhodes suggestions! and as cheesy and unconventional as these books are i would totally love a house of the night movie to come out, i just started reading the series and i must say they are quite the guilty pleasure.

After having read it, I really want to turn an Iain M. Banks novel "Against a Dark Background" into a film. It's absolutely begging for it in the way that it's written - very visually told story with a core group of main characters. Plus, attractive, badass but middle-aged female lead - a lot of good choices out there in Hollywood.... If I ever get the chance, this is the film I will make.

Stephen King's The Dark Tower! Wich might happen too. These books are so darkly thrilling-"fictionazining"awesome. Would be good to see these in film form. Would take a long time but if made right they would be really great! Came here to post this. I think the books would make a great HBO series.

I'm really curious how a movie of "Before I Die" would look like
Tessa has just months to live. Fighting back against hospital visits, endless tests, drugs with excruciating side-effects, Tessa compiles a list. It's her To Do Before I Die list. And number one is Sex. Released from the constraints of 'normal' life, Tessa tastes new experiences to make her feel alive while her failing body struggles to keep up. Tessa's feelings, her relationships with her father and brother, her estranged mother, her best friend, and her new boyfriend, all are painfully crystallised in the precious weeks before Tessa's time finally runs out.

Do you guys think they should remake Carrie? Im surprised they haven't.... I wouldn't mind seeing a new Carrie. I love the original book and movie, but it could be cool to see... Also I would love to see the Anita Blake series become a movie.. or maybe a TV show on HB0 like True Blood

No it wasn't the the sequel and I agree with you that it was horrible. The TV movie had a totally different ending Carrie ends up living in the end and changes her appearence Also the mean girl (I can't think of her name) is played by Emile De Ravin (Claire on Lost)

So glad to see someone has already mentioned Artemis Fowl and The Edge Chronicles on here. Those are two great series and I have them all on my bookshelf. I would like to see The Pillars of the Earth as a mini-series or maybe split up and made into a couple movies. Also a live action verion of The BFG. Peter and the Starcatchers would make a great movie as well.
