So in the extended preview that iTunes released. We saw the dialogue between Saunders and Echo, with the whole angsty Saunders and aware Echo talking stuff. Now in the preview, the scene continues and we hear a couple more sentences, and then its down. But in the episode, it ends at "No one is their best in here".
Is the preview considered canon? Can we add those few (perhaps insignificant) sentences into the Dollhouse info repertoire?

I'd say that only what airs is considered canon. I don't know if Joss has said anything about extended/deleted scenes though. For shows like The Office, all deleted scenes are considered canon (and are just as good as the episodes). They were just cut for time. Might be the same for Dollhouse but who knows unless Joss says something.

Thats interesting. I never actually noticed that. I suppose it doesn't matter too much if its cannon or not. It must not have been of much importance if it was deleted. Karma for bringing it up though  |
