I just picked this up today. Haven't gotten to play very much of it yet, but from what I have played it's amazing! Eliza Dushku voices the main character Rubi Malone. So much fun! There is also some talk that it will be turned into a live action film. Eliza Dushku would most likely play the character in the film version as well. That would be amazing! She talks a bit about it in this little article from MTV... www.mtv.com/news/articles/1623477/20091008/index.jhtml

I didn't really like the demo, but Eliza's voice work seemed pretty good.

I remember the commercial with all the dismembered guys singing about their love for the main character. It was funny. I'd play it, but I don't have a 360 or PS3.

I love the game. I hope they do another. My only problem with it is it didnt seem like the voices were synced. other then that a great fricking game. Also I was apparently the first person in my area to buy the game the day it came out.

Haha, my ex-boyfriend works at GameStop and got a t-shirt for this game...but he hates Eliza. I can't wait til he goes to play it & hears her voice.

I've gotten more into it now, and I absolutely love it. It would be so cool if they made a live action film starring The Dush!

I just beat the game. It's fucking amazing! Plays out like a movie. It's definately the next generation Tomb Raider. So cool that Eliza Dushku played the lead. Could totally see her playing Rubi in a live action movie.

I enjoyed the demo, but I'm waiting for it to become available through Gamefly rather than buying.
Question for those who have played the full game-For some reason while I was playing the demo it seemed like Rubi's voice during gameplay (not cutscenes) sounded different, almost not like Eliza. Am I crazy?

Was looking at the character concept art, and was reminded of Mel. Just the styling of the character in general looked like how I'd imagine Mel to look like in 3D.

I'm not understanding the comparision between this game and Tomb Raider. The only thing they have in common is a lead female with guns, and the two characters couldn't be more different. Wet, from what I've seen, is just pure action, blood and guns. Tomb Raider is nothing like that, it has a completely different purpose. This is just the fanboy coming out in me. Lara Croft FTW!
Wet looks a little too repetitive, but the style seems pretty cool. I'd still like to try it sometime, maybe when I find it used for $10, even if it just to hear Eliza go crazy with the swears.

I am saying that because wet you also so do obstacle of pole and swing on them like tomb raider, but tomb raider you cant fire gun whilst to do a obstacle. BTW I perfer tomb raider, way, way ...I loved legend ,underworld was okkay.

BTW I perfer tomb raider, way, way ...I loved legend ,underworld was okkay. If you're going to compare TR: Legend and TR: Underworld, I think it's pretty clear that TR: Underworld is the superior product. TR: Legend was revolutionary in that it vastly improved the main problem with the then lagging TR franchise: the ridiculously archaic control scheme that always managed to make Lara move like a mannequin. However, it lacked truly next-gen capabilities. They did their best, and it was impressive, but TR: Underworld blew it out of the water in terms of scope, plot, and playability. Any bit of storytelling that can connect the first TR adventure to TR: Legend, and itself is pretty impressive, especially when done well.

I agree , but the game play was better in my opinion to many glitches in underworld. The Character connection with the game went down hill also the atmosphere. But tomb raider underworld had the better graphics way, way .I am not disagreeing with your point but i prefer legends.

Hired this out a couple of weeks ago. It was quite good, just a little tricky trying to get the hang of it. It was something different, with the cinema ads and the 70's style music. Extra bonus was Eliza Dushku voicing Ruby

I hope its good ,i am getting it next week . I carnt wait. I doubt you'd be disappointed. I just finished it a few minutes ago and it was fantastic. Some of the acrobatic stuff and the slow-mo sorta reminded me of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and it has a very Quentin Tarantinoesque plot. I thought Eliza was great, but the plot is what really did it for me. As for a live action movie... I dunno. I can't really imagine anyone playing Rubi. Eliza Dushku obviously has the voice, but other than that I can't really see her pulling off. She'd be better than anyone else I can think of, though. Another problem would be the fact that it would be a video game movie, which are always notoriously bad. On the other hand, if the PoP: SoT movie is going to be as good as it looks, maybe there is hope for a decent WET movie (and video game movies in general). Closing note: Sequel, please!
