I read on the Buffyfest blog that Joss said that he will announce his next project by the time the last Dollhouse episode airs.
He still got stuff going on, The Cabin In The Woods, the Dr Horrible sequal and Season 8 (and probably other things I don't know about) but as you might have noticed, he's a workaholic, so something epic can be expected.
What do you guys think it will be?

I think it will be internet based - could be "The Serving Girl" he and Summer Glau are both free now.
Personally I'd love it to be something from the slayerverse, spin off like 'Ripper' - visual not printed but somehow I don't think so.

I hope it will be comics.
Preferably a few Angel comics.

Personally I'd love it to be something from the slayerverse, spin off like 'Ripper' - visual not printed but somehow I don't think so. I heard Summer was doing a Western with Eric Balfour. I don't know when they're shooting, though. She's going to be in Good Morning Rabbit, if it gets picked up. Maybe they could fit The Serving Girl in there somewhere (that's the title, right?). I don't think GMR will be picked up. The pilot was filmed in August and it's got no hype as far as I can tell. Joss said he wanted to work exclusively on web content after Dollhouse ended and Dr Horrible 2 is already in the works, so that'd be my bet. After that I think I'd like some new web content from him or for him to get Goners going. Outside of more Season Eight / Nine, I don't really have any comic wishes.

I wouldn't hate another musical.
Preferable something wonderfully silly, but at the same time bloody and grave.
Something supernatural, hopefully. Maybe a horror movie, after The Cabin In The Woods is out (to make sure Joss can really do horror movies that sell).
I do miss watching things that are scary, yet funny and with characters you can feel for. Kinda like Hush, in movie form.
And in case he starts doing more comics, I want that firefly comic about shepard Book that he was talking about.
And a Ripper-comic, since the movie doesn't seem to be happening.

Ugh. There are now two threads on this topic.
I realize this is older, however the other thread has 4x the amount of replies so I'm locking this one. Sorry Skytte.
