I was thinking we'd have a raffle where everyone can buy a ticket for a dollar, and I'd record the drawing shirtless. Or in my Britney Spears costume. LMAO!!!

Well, that's probably easier to do than writing it all out in a giant post. And I'm with AF, soo super excited for this. I can't wait to try the new forum out. Looking forward to it! Yeah it's alot easier. And I think people tend to pay attention more when they are listening to something. Huge posts are daunting and sometimes I don't feel like reading very much. Ha.

Humans are social creatures, and it's no wonder that social networking sites have taken the world by storm. Validations and feedback are important to make us feel our worth. We here at SA hope that the new forum software will help bring more of this to you, this is one of the big reasons for the "big switch". I hope that everyone, new members and old will move forward to our new board. It will be so much better, and it is where "SlayAlive" will be! More than a Buffy forum, I want SA to become a platform for you to be able to come and feel at home, and speak about anything you want. To make friends and connections all over the world and share your life, and thoughts. The primary focus for the administration will always be either Buffy, or trying to run contests and grow the community, but as members it's up to you to create interesting and sometimes controversial topics and keep us alive.

Soon my friend, soon.
Possibly tomorrow. I don't have a day off till Monday. I'd feel lame letting people register if everything wasn't up though.

Maybe. That would be a new aspect to it, and to the 'verse in that case. That a mystical item can heal itself. You'd think if that were true though, The Seed should be able to heal itself since it's pretty much the most sacred of all Buffyverse artifacts!
Seriously, I don't get how Fray has an undamaged Scythe in her continuity while Buffy's is broken! Maybe that will explain why hers is all red while Buffy's is silver and red? Fanwank!

Broken Scythe? Continuity error if true. In Fray, her Scythe was intact until Buffy broke it in the future!

Maybe the issue was a counterfeit. I kind of hope so, since the story as summarized leaves me pretty unimpressed. Me too. Sure, it's a summary and we don't see the panels but just the bare bones spoilers leave me feeling empty. Giles? Really?

I like Nicki Minaj. I think she's definitely more Hip Pop, but that's not a bad thing. It's hard to break into the industry these days and you have to connect with mainstream.
I'm seeing her live on Friday.

Since we are a Buffy forum, it will be getting it's own section in the new forum. And discussions are encouraged! But it will be separate from the Joss show. Since it is a separate entity, like Season 8 is. Why don't we have a separate section for the original movie? It would make sense as it may have been written by Joss but most people see it as completely set apart from the series. Because it didn't seem like it would generate that much discussion to give the original movie it's own board. Does it even have a thread? I think that with the new forum, it will be a "Buffy on the Big Screen" board where you can discuss both the original and new incarnations.

Ugh. It bugs me that pretty much all Jo did was look at the Season 5 promotional photos and copy/paste. Hi. Boring, lackluster, no emotion. It looks like my action figures placed on a shelf. Where's the drama? Where's the image that sums up the Season?!
