Since all emoticons are round balls, a large demony thing would just be a "bigger ball" haha. Buffy is chasing the demon.

I think it is very sad that so many people have to judge and bully the creative people behind this venture..i.e. Jo Chen had to repaint Spike's eye color because they were brown instead of green. Really? My goodness people cut them some slack!! Late to this comment, but well it relates to me so I tagged myself in. No one bullied Jo Chen. I and a few others posted on a fan forum about how Chen got the eye color wrong and we wished it was blue and that it was surprising how she got it wrong. That criticism was made in fan space. Chen was the one who got upset by it because she made a fairly simple mistake. Nobody asked her to fix it. She did it herself presumably because she's a perfectionist and she wanted to get it right. If Chen messes up on a likeness, I'm going to say so. Discussing art isn't about being nice--it's about discussing ART. So I don't think there's any need to chill. As long as people are taking about art and not Chen or Jeanty's personal character, then it's all fair game. This is a fan forum. Freedom of speech to discuss art at all times. And I'm going to get my Grr Face if I hear people suggesting others need to stop critiquing art because it's not "nice". Late too. But agreed with Em. There is nothing wrong in critiquing art! That's the point of art. Creative expression will never be enjoyed by all. Love it, or hate it. And with that said, I want to add that someone who is hired to create comic book covers based on characters in a dead television show, it's not too much to ask that they get details such as eye-color right! We've waited years for a Spike cover, it shouldn't be that hard to get it right...especially when it's been proven that her caricatures have been taken direct from screencaps in the past.

Due to the fact that I thought we were moving in November I quit doing the Character Appreciation Thread. I was wondering if I should start it up again on here? When we move I also plan on setting it up over there. Perfect! Have we reached all characters yet? Maybe with the move we could start over, possibly move it to "popularity status" with a poll first, then the winning character will claim the title for the month? Could be cool... EDIT: We will also have a big surprise, which NO other Buffy forum has ever done!!!

The new board will be amazing! Just a little while longer, it's coming!
Things that will be coming back so far:
Member of the Month Art Contests SlayChallenges Lottery
**New** Referral Rewards - refer a newbie (VB can track that) and get a prize once they post! The member who also holds the title for the most referrals at December's end will be rewarded with a special prize bought and paid for by me!

But in Dollhouse, although characters may have died, the greater good was achieved because Rossum was taken out.
Fray world = Buffy has lost. The world is not saved, and the demons are still doing their thing! Something Buffy herself laments over after realizing she is in the future.

I'd much prefer it if the Fray Universe was placed into an alternate future. I don't like how it is so grim.
It's no fun when you know the ending.

YOUR EYES THAT DART THE RAYS OF THE SUN! I assume we have till December to see which side is declared the winner...but it might make for fun conversation in the meantime. So which side do you choose? Protect the Seed, or destroy it? And explain why, or reasons behind what is making you choose. Or do you see the right in both sides? Go!

The paneling was really well done! The art, the dialogue (for the most part) is also on point! Really excited for the issue.
I'm kind of scared. I don't want anyone to be killed off, because I don't think this story justifies the death of any core character. Overall the Season took a turn for me around Issue 20-24. I lost interest, and I haven't liked the developments that much. But that aside, I am still really looking forward to the ending of the Season and news about what's to come next Season.
I'm hoping for epic, I'm hoping for heartbreak, and I am also hoping for closure.
I read somewhere that Buffy was always at it's best when it involved Angel, or Angelus. And while that may be true, I still find myself not as invested in this Twilight as Angel stuff. Maybe it's because I side with Willow, I do not want this world to end.

It can't be helped unfortunately. I mean, of all our members, only a few hundred actually log in on a semi regular basis. This is the reason for keeping both forums open for a while, it will give those who missed out on the initial announcements to come here and find out about the new one.
Just takes time.
I also wanted to address things like our contests, and especially the challenges and things like LIMS, etc. These particular games do not need to be ran by a moderator, nor do they even need our explicit approval or planning. If anyone wants to restart certain games, just quickly run it by me via a PM, and you are good to go. For the record, the only games I prefer to be Mod-run are: games that involve actual prizes, the SlayChallenges, or games that originated with a moderator (like Big Brother). Even those can be run by a member, again after you've talked to me. It's all about making sure that you are up to the task, and will remain active and stay around to run the game.

No no, Jeanty clearly stated that "Dawn is above Willow". But all I see is Faith and Giles, so I think that Dawn has been intentionally blacked out, without Jeanty's knowledge.

I just noticed that Georges keeps saying that Dawn is on his cover for this issue above Willow...
Has Dark Horse blacked out the space between Willow and Giles intentionally to make us think Dawn is dead, and didn't relay that info to Jeanty? Therefore blowing that for us, since he has said that Dawn is on it, and that he also added Faith because he is fond of her?
Basically everyone is present but Spike.

I'm thinking that Willow will be removed from "our world" and be the protector of the Seed in the Twilight dimension, and maybe find a way to come back in the future.

^ I feel there should be a big "in-your-face" clock somewhere on the board with a count-down to the second we switch to the new board. lol Haha I thought about that, but it'll just be more of "okay guys, it's up! go register, and eventually this board will be locked...but remain visible for lurking and viewing", kind of deal. Soon! Very soon! I've invested lots of moolah into this.

It's interesting that as we approach the climax of this 4+ year season, discussion of it has fallen off to virtually nothing. Yeah I have noticed this on the Buffy forums I either post on or lurk. I think it's been a long road and once it's over we will have much to talk about, as well as what we hope to see for next Season.

I have a question. Why are logs in being turned off? Couldn't you just turn off posting? That way, people would still be able to access their PMS and user notes. Something I'll consider
