Dead Things. I think this episode is very underrated. I love Spuffy so maybe I'm biased, but this episode is so good for the shippers. The scene with music in the graveyard is one of the best moments every between buffy & spike- so moody & dark. Even though I think the trio is mostly lame..they are actually entertaining in this episode. The whole plot of the episode is one of the better of season 6--and the ending with buffy crying in taras lap is a great buffy moment. It is kind of a heavy episode though.

"This years girl" also aired in 2000, and faith was in a coma since 1999- so I always thought that might've had something to do with the title.

The Prom was just on LOGO. I was tearing up at the end when buffy & angel were dancing & they just ran the credits so fast and like cut off the ending- not cool.

Living Conditions is one of the BEST of the series. It's definitely one of the top 5 funniest episodes. I think season 4 as a whole is pretty underrated. It's nowhere near as bad as season 7-sorry! From the posts I just read about bad eggs- THAT episode is being overrated! Not bad-b/c it IS still buffy of course-but not at all one of the better hours.

Nobody mentioned "I was made to love you". I quite like that title in relation to the Warren/April-bot storyline.
"Life Serial" is funny too- it's cute ( life cereal!) & poignant (buffy trying to find a place in the real-world)--Also, although I'm NOT a big fan of the trio, I love this episode & think it's really underrated.
Also really like "Never kill a boy on the first date" (very memorable), New Moon Rising (very fitting for the episode), & "This Years Girl" (Love Faith!)

Who feels sorry for Amy?! I think she needs to keep on getting darker & darker until we get another mystical blowout between her & Willow. If the writers ARE going to kill Amy-Willow would be the best character to have fight & kill her. If not Willow, then Buffy. Amy's story has been very long & drawn out, which IMO makes it more interesting. It's always been like a little sideshow with her. I'm totally 100& against an Amy redemption. It'd be more interesting to me if she does end up turning into her mother. If her story isn't resolved with Season 8, I'd like to see her carried over to Season 9. Warren & Twilight need to be gone by season 9.
And this is pretty random, but I've thought for a long time that Giles would make a badass villain-as a vampire. If season 9 is going to be the end all of the buffy saga (no movie :/...), then I think Giles as a Vamp King would be sick. Drusilla could come sweeping back into the buffyverse- turn Giles & wreck havoc in buffys life. Giles knows Buffy better than most people. He'd be the hardest person for her to fight since Angel/Angelus probably. And even though it would make me sad on a certain level because i LOVE giles- I think it would be fitting conclusion. & I can see the writers playing it out like buffy loosing a parent in a way & having to really grow up.. Not to say that she hasn't really grown up alot these past 2 seasons because she definitely has.

Kennedy's the best-she's the only potential slayer that has really grown at all as a character. I guess Vi has become stronger and more confident, but we've seen the most of kennedy. And to those who don't grasp the Willow/Kennedy attraction--Willow was just growing confident as she met Tara-who was still very shy. No doubt, tara and willow made eachother stronger. When Willow met Kennedy, she'd grown leaps and bounds since S4, but was weak in a way due to going off the rails in S6. Kennedy was Strong and assertive-something that helped Willow grow strong again herself. People tend to act differently in different relationships. In the Willow/tara relationship-willow was much more alpha. It makes sense that Kennedy coming along as an alpha would challenge and interest Willow.
And I think Rona would be my least favorite--she had a bad attitude just as much as Kennedy-if not more. At least Ken could back it up with her drive & top knotch slayer skills.

it looks like spikes cheekbones in the first cover. And in the second cover, it looks like spikes hair! Does Spike not make sense to anyone else?!? I still hope it's Ethan! He makes the most sense of anyone in my opinion.

Right from the first moment of this episode, i felt the quick witted script. This episode was honestly, perfectly flawless in the end. Possibly my favorite episode of the series so far. When she said 'blue skies' and turned "TAFFY" on in the jail cell, I died! I love the direction the show is going. I still have hope that dollhouse ends up a movie like firefly and serenity. That way the writers can at least punctuate the series in a wholly different, and even more epic way. It would still have the same ideas with the same writers. They could write a kick-ass movie from this material. Just LOOK at the masterpiece that is the marriage of firefly & serenity. o well. Yeah, loved these two episodes soo much more than last week.

these two episodes- meet jane doe and a love supreme were by far top 5 episodes of the series. The payoff from the first episode up to this point has been phenomenal (storytelling-wise). The writing was superb, and I love Echos ability to move from one stored personality to the next for whatever tasks at hand-very awesome idea. Not to mention the editing was very well done and the overall feel is more epic and sci-fi. I hope this paves the way for an amazing conclusion!

i'm so mad about this. it's really annoying that all they care about is ratings-who cares if it's a good show. It's all business and it's really unfortunate that so many stupid shows stay on the air just b/c the ratings are there. i Mean, how does the HILLS stay on for 5 years, but not dollhouse? It's sickening. Dollhouse surely would've kept getting better and better. We didn't even get to see the house in Manhattan which i was really looking forward to-unless we catch a glimpse in the remaining episodes (doubtful). I hope the rest of season 2 is killer. R.i.P. dollhouse. hopefully it follows the Firefly/Serenity route and we get a movie next year.

ayayay you are so defensive! Scientific studies have shown that the brain of a homosexual man resembles that of a heterosexual woman. Sorry to burst your little bubble. I'm sorry, but such "scientific" studies are rather hilariously interpreted on a regular basis. How a brain responds to certain stimuli may be similar, but saying that the brain of a homosexual man resembles that of a heterosexual woman is rather stretchy. For one, the human brain is still pretty much a mystery, even after decades of probing. For another, it's like making the argument that the brain of a lesbian resembles that of a heterosexual male. Just because both brains respond similarly to certain stimuli (eg. pheromones) doesn't make them the same. Or even resemble each other. If you wanted to make an argument about how the brain of a gay man reacts in the same way as a heterosexual woman to an attractive male, then sure, I'd say that your argument is probably merited. Also, sources are appreciated, especially when you're arguing with the resident biologist of the forum. "Pop science" really annoys me... especially when the article tries to pigeonhole data to fit some ridiculous agenda. Consider my bubble intact. I'm not talking about brain function- I'm talking about the physical shape of the brain AND the way it works. In an article I found it says..... The brains of gay men resemble those of straight women, according to research being published Tuesday that provides more evidence of the role of biology in sexual orientation. The area of the brain that processes emotions also looked very much the same in gay men and straight women -- and both groups have higher rates of depressive disorders than heterosexual men, researchers said. The study in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, however, found the brain similarities were not as close in the case of gay women and straight men. Previous studies have found evidence that sexual orientation is hard-wired. More than a decade ago, neurobiologist Simon LeVay reported that a key area of the hypothalamus, a brain structure linked to sexual behavior, was smaller in homosexual men compared to heterosexual men. The latest study, led by Ivanka Savic of the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, was significant in that it looked at areas of the brain that have nothing to do with sexual behavior, suggesting there was a basic biological link between sexual orientation and a range of brain functions. "The question is -- how far does it go?" said Dr. Eric Vilain, who studies human sexual development at UCLA and was not involved in the study. "In gay men, the brain is feminized. Is that limited to particular areas or is the entire brain female-like?" Vilain said his hunch was the entire brain was not feminized because "gay men have a number of masculine traits that are not present in women." The results showed that gay men had symmetrical brains like those of straight women, and homosexual women had slightly asymmetrical brains like those of heterosexual men. So THERE you have it-- Call me crazy Mr. Resident Biologist, but I think those studies prove it's more than just similar brain activity- it's similar biology. I think you should perhaps do some research before you get so defensive and make me sound so uninformed. And I can't even believe my initial comment led to this.

and do you think that the guys that tried to hit victor thought 'oh i bet this is really a womans mind in a mans body'.....no...they thought this guy is gay. and of course gay men and women are different, but they do share qualities.

how is my comment offensive? He did seem gay, but only because he seemed femme-not saying all gay men act like that. Isn't it a legit idea that when a man acts like victor/kiki- he is expressing his female side?
I'm also a gay man, just to let ya know.
