I definitely didn't like True Believer that much...Stage Fright is in no way my favourite, though I am surprised that so many people think it's the worst. Maybe I'm just strange

Well I'm officially Spike for Buffy, but I won't lie, I have had some daydreams about this ship during a particularly boring moment. I really like them as friends and sisterly, but it would be totally hot if they ever got together, not to mention they definitely would bring something to each other in a romantic relationship or otherwise.

yes definitely, I thought it was cute that Dawn had a crush on him, but it never should go anywhere. I liked the friendship that it turned into...hopefully the motorcycle thing doesn't happen

I'm just going to go ahead and say that it's Wood, not Woods (thread title). My problem with the kite string is that it was too similar to Willow and Tara's first love scene (metaphorically as it was actual a spell). Tara had to anchor her on this plain and there was a whole trust thing. I thought it was just too similar.

Things weren't the same between her and Oz anymore. They had both gone through a lot since he left and they weren't the same people. She said things were different because of Tara and in part they were, it wasn't just how she felt for her but the new parts of herself that she found through Tara. She was just in a different place, she still loved Oz but that's not where she was.
Also on the other hand you could say she simply realized she's gay, but I do think it's a lot more complicated than that.

He's slotted to show up in season 9, so i'm looking forward to that (for many reasons) but it would be great to see what happens between them and how she feels about him being not dead.

I always loved Dawn and Spike and they way they cared about each other. It drove me crazy when they didn't deal with it again after all the issues at the end of season 6. I thought he brought out a great part of Dawn and vice versa and it was difficult to watch them essentially ignore each other later...

Buffy, Spike and Angel. Closely followed by Willow and Faith. However I'm counting strength as both physically and emotionally and resourcefulness. Characters like Glory, Adam, Jasmine etc. etc. Have strength but their weaknesses lie in their lack of humanity.

Being a Spuffy shipper I like the Spuffy moments, however I find I take a lot of pleasure in some of their smaller moments. I really like Checkpoint when Buffy asks Spike to watch Dawn and her Mother, I like that he's playful with her and takes care of them for her and Buffy is actually a little softer than usual with him.
I also like when he comforts her in Blood Ties when they're looking for Dawn. I like small sweet moments like that.

Definitely love this one, it is of course entirely hilarious (especially the trio and especially the James Bond fight..."I like Timothy Dalton"....Smack). Though I agree it has a lot of heart and really shows you where Buffy is and where she doesn't know she's going.

I did like Giles/Olivia and Buffy/Satsu was an interesting place to go. I of course like:
Spike/Buffy Willow/Tara Willow/Oz Spike/Joyce (not romantic) Spike/Dawn (also not romantic) Xander/Anya Buffy/Angel Xander/Cordelia
Honestly rarely do I hate a ship....

I get that there are parallels but it has to be considered that in their world and because they're both super strong violence isn't treated the same (like firefly is an action show, so the fact that they kill people constantly is treated differently). I'm not saying their relationship was good (in season 6 anyway) but them punching each other is sort of like yelling in our world. Except you know for the attempted rape thing, that is hard to watch and only represents attempted rape and the fact that Spike was still evil (just wanted to make clear that I'm not advocating what they did, especially that)
Also least favorite is probably Xander/Dawn, and while I came around to Willow/Kennedy they're not high on my list...and Buffy/Riley are low on my list too.

Definitely Lindsey and Lilah. I liked both of them separately and their energy together. Next in line would be Gavin though, he shook things up in a different way than Lindsey and he's the kind of character I love to hate.

I think it would have been cool if Xander had shown up on Angel, mainly because it would be so out of his element so it would be interesting to see where they take it. Also I agree with Jane Espenson, I never felt like Xander and Cordelia got closure, it would have been nice to see them together (but not you know together) again. Not to mention it would have been cool if Cordelia had gone back to Buffy just once to see the old gang together again.
Though I think it would have been really cool if it was Dawn who was there in The Girl In Question, it would have made it more interesting to see her reaction to Spike being alive and more insight into Buffy.

The first time I watched the 4th season it drove me nuts, and Conner especially. However rewatching it without waiting a week or more in between cliffhangers, I started feeling for Conner. That kid grew up in hell and then was convinced that Angel killed the man he thought of as his father. Then of course gets whipped back and forth by cordelia all throughout the fourth season. I really felt bad for him rewatching it and I have a new found empathy for Conner. I had the same thing happen with Dawn too, I was part of the kill Dawn faction but I watched it again later and started to see why she was the way she was.
I think they both complain a lot and are sulky so people tend to be driven crazy by them, but when you consider what they've been through I just figure maybe I would be bitchy too. I don't know..

I'm not entirely sure if it was an intentional call back, they do occasionally reuse the same kinds of jokes, however either way I still think it's a good moment, it's a good joke and a great way to show who Gunn is even when he's dying.

I watched Shells, Underneath and Lineage this weekend. It's been so long since I've seen those I actually forgot about some moments. I love that! I've seen every episode so many times that I like to take a long time away and then forget about some of it so I get excited like the first time...that's probably crazy but it's fun.

Well I got the impression that while she was dead they were still using the money joyce left to keep the house running. Again that I understand because they were taking care of Dawn, but when Buffy got back they were basically freeloading their very fragile friend because they were going to school. I go to school and I have to pay my own rent in my apartment. What a novel idea, lol
