Is that Eunice from She's The Man?
I saw the first Ginger Snaps a few years ago and really did not like it, but who knows, maybe a second viewing would change my mind (it happens a lot with me, a movie I originally hated slowly creeps into my favourites list).

It was never explained, except Amy saying she was still learning about witchcraft. Giles says that Cordelia's locket actually worked as protection against the spell, which is why she wasn't affected.

We've seen Buffy go to her death in Season 1, making a sacrifice because it's the right thing to do. But is her death in Season 5 really a sacrifice, or is it her way out?
Every time I watch The Gift I start to think about this due to the look on Buffy's face when she has the flashback to the First Slayer saying "Death is your gift." It's not a look of fear or determination, it's a look of acceptance, peace and even a little hope. Like she sees a way out that also helps to save her sister, friends, oh and of course the world.
I'm not trying to lessen her death in any way and really, if it is a suicide, can you blame her? Look at what she's suffered through over the previous five years. And with just recently losing her mum and the pain of the previous few months it would be little surprise that she would want a way out.
Just something to think about.

One of mine is in 'Into the Woods', where Buffy stakes three vampires in one move. I love that one too! Another favourite of mine is in All The Way when they find Dawn necking with that vamp and then all of a sudden they're surrounded by other vampires. One of them rushes at Buffy yelling "DIE SLAYER!" and Buffy just rolls her eyes and mutters "Uh-huh" as she casually stakes the vamp as he runs at her. Makes me laugh every time.

Wow, Darth Rosie, that's an insane tying speed! I'm muchly impressed.
I got 65 wpm. I've had that speed since I was in high school, I doubt it'll ever change. I don't touch type properly. I mean, I do touch type, but my hands aren't positioned in the "correct" way.

I love Musicals! When I was thirteen my parents took me to see Les Miserables and I've been in love with it ever since.
But my all-time favourite is The Phantom of The Opera. When I was a kid we had the Michael Crawford/Sarah Brightman soundtrack and I knew every lyric to every song before I even really knew the storyline. Then, finally, when I went to London in '07 I got to see it live, it was a dream come true!
I also love Fame (the stage musical), it's so campy and fun!
As far as musicals I've only seen on-screen go, I love Grease, My Fair Lady, all three High School Musicals (the music only, the storylines are utter crap) and, of course, The Sound of Music.

Bad Eggs, this, to me, was a horrible filler episode with a useless, senseless plot and very lazy writing. The whole little subplot about Joyce not trusting Buffy is really bizarre in the wake of her speech just a few episodes before in School Hard. Beer Bad, this one has been mentioned by several others and I whole-heartedly agree. The Buffy as a cavewoman gag was annoying and pointless. Although, I have to say, this episode has one of my favourite Xander lines "NOTHING CAN DEFEAT THE PENIS!" Hilarity. Never Kill A Boy On The First Date, I won't say this is one of the "worst" episodes because it's quite well-written, but I personally can't stand it. Not a hundred percent sure why, it just always bored me. Listening To Fear, eeugh, this episode was horrible. No character developement, it didn't move the plot at all and that Queller demon thing reminded me of a giant cockroach which completely disgusted me. Now, as a side not, I can't believe there are people who don't like the musical. Well, actually, I can believe it, everyone has their own tastes, it's more that I don't get it. I love musicals, so I was so psyched when they made OMWF. Plus most of the songs are so catchy! But not for everyone, I guess.

Oh, I am so bumping this thread. I am the biggest crier when it comes to movies. Here's my list:
Little Women, the Christmas reuinion with their father and of course Beth's death (Jo climbing onto the bed next to her dead sister breaks my heart)
We Were Soldiers, there are several scenes but the one that gets me most is when a young soldier is severely burnt from an explosion. The scene is so shocking and intense that there's nothing you can do but cry.
My Girl, oh God, this one breaks my heart every time, whenever Vada is yelling "Put his glasses on, he can't see without his glasses!'
Anne of Green Gables, when Matthew dies, and he tells Anne "I never wanted a boy, I only wanted you from the very start".
The Lion King, I actually cry during the stampede as opposed to after it, I think because I know what's coming.
V For Vendetta, just after V has brought Evey to the roof and she steps into the rain and lifts her arms up. It's a powerful scene.
I Am Sam, when they forcibly take Lucy from Sam and Rita is standing in the background refusing to help them take her.
The Little Mermaid, I get teary at Ariel's wedding when she hugs her father and whispers "I love you, Daddy."
I know there are more, but this'll do for now.

I don't think we're supposed to read too much into it. I think as soon as Joss & co. decided to make Willow gay instead of Xander they just kept the gay comments in as a runnning gag, kind of similar to Chandler on Friends or J.D. on Scrubs.
As you said, though, it's admirable that they kept it going throughout the seasons. One of the things I love about Buffy is that the writing never gets lazy.

I hate when you are very obviously reading a book at home and someone starts talking to you about crap, I'm like Hey can't you see i'm reading a book!? shut up! Totally agree with you there! I also hate when people do this when I'm totally engrossed in a movie. Some movies I'll talk through with my friends, but when you can tell I'm riveted, for God's sake, shut up.

It's the same scene and outcome we saw, but it just feels different to me somehow. Curious to know what others think. Wow, you're right, it does seem different. The script is a little different (longer) but the feel is also different. I think it's because when you read something, as opposed to watching it, you can interpret it for yourself and adjust the way the lines are delivered in your head. Like I said, this scene doesn't bother me the way it does others because I actually agree with the Scoobies, but I think it needed better direction and a different interpretation by the actors. It's also interesting that in the script Dawn doesn't just outright throw Buffy out of the house, she gives her a choice. Either stay and let Faith lead or go - and Buffy chooses to go. There's also no mention of the scene where Faith follows her out and Buffy tells her not to be afraid to lead the Potentials. They should have left it the way it was originally written, it probably would have changed a lot of people's views.

Okay while writing this post I just went and looked at a shooting script for End Of Days, to refresh my memory, and WOW is it different to what we saw on the show. Can you post a link, please? I'd really like to take a look.

BUT they were building up to that scene for a long time. The Scoobies had to eventually call Buffy out on all her self-involved bs that was masking as leadership. One of the fundamental aspects of being a leader is listening to your followers and Buffy was not doing that. I agree with you here. This scene never annoyed me the way it did other people, because I think that Faith, Giles and The Scoobies were right in calling Buffy out. Rona and Kennedy I want to kick in the head, but the others had valid points, and as kaan says they don't bitch at her or about her. And of course Spike was the only one to 'stand by her' because he was the only one she had 'let in' throughout most of the season. Plus Spike is in love with her and pretty much worships the ground she walks on. It comes down to the fact that (aside from Dawn maybe) he really doesn't care about anyone else in the house except Buffy. So the horror that has happened to everyone else (Xander especially) doesn't bother him and he defends Buffy without even thinking about them. When Xander lost his eye Buffy could not even stick around the hospital because she just couldn't open herself to that pain. I always thought she was really weak in the scene where she bailed on Xander. Yes, she feels bad, but Xander is supposed to be one of her best friends and he needs her there - he needs her support and she just bails and refuses to talk about it with Dawn.

In Halloween when Buffy and Willow are trying to steal the Watcher diaries and Buffy just blurts out to Giles "Ms. Calendar said you're a babe." You briefly see Willow roll her eyes at Buffy. Makes me giggle every time.

Oh, I think what SCT is referring to is the "signature box"-- you put the link to the image in the box between two image tags-- link goes here [ / I M G] Without the spaces Hope that helps.
OK, so I tried that and still nada. Thanks for the advice, I guess it just doesn't like me. EDIT: Never mind, I finally got it. Thank you for your help and thanks again GaGa!

I am trying to put a banner up that was made for me, but when I got to my "Modify Profile" I don't have an option to. I was wondering if someone could help me out/rectify this please?

Oh my God, it's perfect! Thank you so much, Vampyr GaGa, you rock. Major Karma for you!
Hmm ... just realised, I don't have a "Banner" box on my modify profile! Would the best way to rectify this be to contact a Mod?
