For anyone who can make one, I'm after a Faith-centered banner/Icon set, please, with the words "Lights will guide you home/And ignite your bones/And I will try to fix you" somewhere on it.
(They're from a song from The O.C., everytime I hear the song I think of Faith.)
I hope it's not too specific! If it is, I'll just take a Faith banner however it's made.
Oh, and then I need to know how to actually link it to my posts, I don't know how. Newbie here.
Thanks in advance!

Huh, Eclipse actually looks mildly interesting. At least better than another trailer I saw, where the focus was on the Bella/Edward/Jacob triangle. Think I'll wait 'till it hits DVD and then just fast-forward to all the fight scenes.

Favourite Actresses:
Kate Winslet, she's so talented, so amazing, so gorgeous Winona Ryder, even thought she's disppeared a bit lately, still one of my faves Angelina Jolie, possibly the only female I would swing for, plus she's really very talented Kirsten Dunst, she's very underrated IMO given how good she is Amy Adams, she's adorable and so talented
Favourite Actors:
Jensen Ackles, yes he's hot hot hot, but the boy can really act too! Robin Williams, is there any role this man can't play? Mel Gibson, I know he's a bit of a knob, but his acting chops are superb Liam Neeson, he's so awesome, he was the only actor in the Star Wars movies who was able to work with that God-awful script Gary Oldman, he's brilliant. Love his guest stint on Friends

I love this thread! I actually read the entire thing, usually I just skim to pick up where people are up to in the discussion, but this one was so entertaining! Jumping on in. (I have a lot)
1. When I'm on public transport and someone sits so close to me they end up touching me. Personal space, people!
2. When I'm sitting on a bench in a public place smoking a cigarette and someone sits next to me and then gives me filthy looks because I'm smoking. Hello, I was here first! I always try to find a place where no one is sitting because I like to be considerate, but if I was there first, find somewhere else to sit!
3. When people try to talk to me when I'm in the bathroom.
4. People who constantly judge things and situations that they have no experience with (a little judement now and then isn't a sin, we're all guilty of it, but when someone does it all the time it really grates my cheese)
5. People who can't spell at all. Get a dictionary.
6. People who ship couples simply because they think one half of the couple is "hot". Have a valid reason!
7. Channel 10 CONSTANTLY pulling Supernatural off air.
8. People who don't bother to let you know when they're running late. It takes two seconds to send a text message.

Really? I never knew that, unless that's only in Canberra Yep, only in Canberra. All other states are years 7 - 12, but ACT is just weird.

I was all over the place in high school. I was a smart kid, placed in Level 1 for all my classes (my high school had three levels), but if I didn't like the subject I wouldn't apply myself and my grades would slip. So English, Media Studies, Drama, basically anything creative or literature-based I would pull A's, anything else it was B's or C's, even though it should have been A's.
Year 11 I pulled straight A's. (in Australia, or more specifically Canberra where I grew up, private high schools go from Years 7 - 12 but public high schools go from Years 7 - 10 and then Years 11 & 12 are separate and are referred to as "College". Weird, I know). Anyway, when you get to College you can drop and pick up whichever subjects you want to. So I took all my favourite subjects and excelled.
Year 12, however, I royally screwed up. I had left my parents' house and I spent most of the year partying and neglecting my studies. I ended up barely scraping through.

I think that could be a really fun challenge! Which season would you put it in? It would probably be a lot darker than the Buffy one.

I also really felt it when Lindsay died. The whole "Angel kills me" thing broke my heart. I always really felt for Lindsay too. That moment where you can see him realise that he is so insignificant that Angel couldn't be bothered killing him himself is quite devastating.

I can't stand films that have Johnny Depp in them. Pirates of the Carribbean, urgh. *Gasp!* Such blasphemy! I love Pirates of The Caribbean! (See, as I said, one person's hate, another's love). Great thread, by the way! Thanks! I figured it would garner some interesting replies.

I, personally, could not stand this movie. I have read all four books (and didn't like any of them except perhaps Breaking Dawn). Twilight is likeable because of two things - the direction and the score. Catherine Hardwick has a great directing style, and she did a great job with the blue tint and the weird angles and quick shots, and the score is beautiful. I love the music and it works so well with the direction! However, with New Moon and it's ho-hum direction and average-sounding score you are left to focus on the horrendous acting and overly-exposed Taylor Lautner. Oh, and the fact that the movie is boring as hell. Nothing happens! Cliched line after cliched line, spoken in monotones with no emotion or feeling. Gah! Plus, this movie send the worst message to teenage girls. So your boyfriend leaves and you fall apart, become suicidal, emo and reclusive? Have nightmares where you wake up screaming. Believe me, I know about having nightmares and waking up screaming your head off after a bad relationship, but my relationship was violent, what's Bella's excuse? And teenage girls are supposed to aspire to this? Please! So yes, hate, hate, hate this movie. Bad acting, bad script, bad direction, bad everything! Ok, rant over.

I searched to see if this topic had already been done and got nada. So ...
We all have movies that we hated and vowed never to see again. So, what are the worst ones in your humble opinion? Top 10, here we go. Should be interesting. What one person loves another hates with a violent passion. Mine are below (in no particular order)
1. The Matrix Reloaded, I didn't mind the first Matrix, but this sequel is awful. Boring and drawn-out with almost no plot.
2. The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the first movie is bearable thanks to Catherine Hardwicke's amazing direction and Carter Burwell's gorgeous score, but with those two factors missing from this instalment you're left with Kristen and Rob's horrendous acting and a storyline that makes you want to punch the main characters in the face.
3. Army of Darkness, I'm not a massive fan of any of the Evil Deads, but this one is the worst. I suffered through it once for a friend. Never again.
4. American Pie: The Wedding, I loved the first two American Pies, but this one was woefully lacking in humour. The script falls flat and the actors look bored throughout the whole thing.
5. Pride & Prejudice, The Keira Knightley version. I'm all for Jane Austen (I love Sense & Sensability) but I couldn't stand this adaptation.
6. Dawn Of The Dead, the most recent version. An ex of mine had a thing for zombie movies and I was forced to watch this monstrosity as payback for something or the other.
7. Romeo + Juliette, Baz Lurhman's version. The direction is amazing, but Leo and Claire are not fabulous and when it comes to Shakespeare I'm a bit of a traditionalist. The 1960s Franco Zefferelli version is a hundred times better.
8. T3: Rise of The Machines, this instalment really brought the series down. Cheesy and overblown with none of the grit and drama of the first two.
9. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, my boyfriend made me suffer through this. I know it's supposed to be funny, but I just couldn't see it. The whole thing annoyed me.
10. ANY Spoof Movie (Scary Movie, Date Movie etc.), I can't stand spoofs, to me they're just lazy writing with way too obvious take-offs and gags. Satires are more my thing (Club Dread anyone?)

1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer 2. Angel 3. Supernatural 4. Gilmore Girls 5. Smallville 6. Tru Calling 7. Scrubs 8. That 70's Show 9. The O.C. 10. Law & Order: SVU
So many more shows that I adore, but there's the Top 10 as per request.

1. Little Women - the 1995 Winona Ryder version. This movie is beautifully shot, wonderfully cast and follows the book fairly faithfully, at least for the first half.
2. The Boondock Saints - I love the action sequences, the music, the boys are hot and Willem Dafoe is hilarious. Plus, when I first watched it, it was a very new and interesting concept, one I hadn't seen on film before.
3. Crazy/Beautiful - this movie is just so fresh and real and the love story is very realistic and not over-dramatised. Plus I love Kirsten Dunst, she's so good in this!
4. V For Vendetta - I saw this four times at the cinemas. I love the direction, the story, Hugo Weaving is terrific and the final scene is just so freakin' awesome.
5. The Virgin Suicides - hauntingly beautiful, gorgeous direction, very well acted and it just leaves such an impact on the viewers.
6. Thirteen - a very real and brutal script, almost scary at times with it's portrayal of young teenage life. Evan Rachel Wood and Nicki Reed both give amazing performances and Catherine Hardwick's direction is so unique.
7. Club Dread - this is one of my guilty pleasures. Broken Lizard do a great job of satirising the horror genre. It's funny, amusing and very politically incorrect at times.
8. The Little Mermaid - I love this film! I know I'm too old for it, but I just can't get enough. Disney is awesome and this film is so pretty and fun, with awesome music.
9. Dead Poets' Society - Robin Williams is brilliant in this movie and the story is so uplifting, funny and inspiring. The ending gives me chills every single time I watch it.
10. American History X - so powerful, so horrifying. Edward Norton and Edward Furlong are both stand-outs in their portrayals of the Vinyard brothers and it's so well directed.
