Agree.
The First worked much better as a single episode monster than the Big Bad of an entire season.

Agree.
Wolfram and Heart is, by far, the greatest evil in the Buffyverse.

Disagree.
Gwen Raiden should have become a member of Angel Investigations/Wolfram and Heart during Season 5.

Disagree. In lust maybe.
Faith SO needs her own series.

Disagree. I've come to like Andrew.
The First should have taken corporeal form at the end of Season Seven.

it really does break my heart to see willow not really a part of the gang. perhaps that will be resolved in the WatG arc. Doubt it, but we'll see. Maybe Joss isn't that heartless. And while we're at it, maybe George W. Bush isn't that brainless. Or the Pope isn't that old.

Based on this issue, I think the best thing for Buffy and Willow to do is go their seperate ways after the confrontation with Twilight.
As much as I hate the bitch, if Kennedy really is the woman Willow loves, Buffy needs to do the best thing for Willow's happiness and step out of her life. Willow has lost everything because of her devotion to her ungrateful friend, and it's time they ended their relationship.
Can you tell it breaks my fanboy heart to write this?
I'll never get tired of saying this: I really hate Joss Whedon.

My only point is that it's sloppy writing, especially from a writer (Brian K. Vaughan) I've come to expect better from.
My major grip with this arc is that Vaughan insists on writing Faith as a total frigging moron.
I beleive the avator is from Requim for a Dream, right?

I have a serious nitpick about the Amy Winehouse name-dropping.
Winehouse(who I find very painful on the eyeballs)'s first album came out in 2003. Season Eight is apparently taking place in mid-2004. While it's quite possible that Gigi is a fan of the tattooed stick-insect, I find it extremely doubtful that Faith would have heard of her, as that particular album as yet to be released statewise.
When I've brought this to other fans, they've explained it away as Giles having introduced Faith to Winehouse and other British pop culture as part of her training to infiltrate Gigi's mansion.
The same Giles who thought rock and roll ended with the Bay City Rollers?

I am in the "keep Tara dead" camp. That's not to say she wouldn't be a cool ghost, or something. Hey! Maybe Willow found her on the astral plane? It would be neato if she appeared in a dream, vision, or something as a guide for Willow. Similar to her role in Restless. That's my position as well. I got Fred back. I'm not gonna push my luck.

So you think Joss has been lying to us all about his "Buffy's wish" scene? Well...yes!

Only way I can see Tara brought back: The spear pierces Willow's heart, and all fades to black. Then, in a flash, the white floods in, and through it comes a hand. She hears a voice she has not heard in quite some time. "It's time to come home, baby." We see a familiar face. Then we see two hands clasping, and the scene changes. ...to Joss Whedon being drawn and quartered. By me. Not kidding.

So not entering the Tara discussion....
...then again I never believed Whedon ever intended to bring her back.
On the whole I'd rather have the comic book. If there ever was a movie it would have to be a reboot and feature an entirely new cast to even have a chance of working.

Never particularly liked Clem. Wouldn't be thrilled OR dismayed to see him return.
Make it work, Whedon!

I'm thinking the lovely Kelly Vitz as Satsu: And Megalyn Echikunwoke as Rene:

No more than I want the Marvel Universe, the DC Universe, or the ACTUAL UNIVERSE (that one may be a bit of a reach) to end.
Could Satsu be possibly worse than anyone else she's ever bedded? If anything, she's a MASSIVE step up for the Buffster.

The Mayor/Snake scooped him up and slammed him. Instant death. *EDIT* Eek, I was replying to someone. But after I did, apparently they deleted their post. lol They asked how Larry died. That was me. Thanks.
