House sitting for some friends this week. Its been nice to get away from the construction zone that is still going on at my house from the flood damage. But got the rooms repainted and getting the carpet this week!!!! It got delayed so we didn't get it two weeks ago when we were suppose to. Been having to take care of chickens as part of my house sitting duties. Its been interesting. They are pretty low maintenance. The roosters do most of the hard work. I just feed and water them, then collect the eggs and shut up the coop at night. There has been a bobcat in the area, so I have to make sure they're locked up tight in the evenings. I am sure you guys wanted to know all that info, didn't ya?

I have absolutely no clue how to post a pic on here. But I am enjoying being able to put faces to user names now.

ha ha ha.
My dad ruined black hair combs for me growing up because of that. He had one (as gross as it sounds) that he used just for scratching. It was VERY gross. So now I refuse to buy black combs just b/c of that.

Never really got the Joey Lawerence thing. Nor do I think I ever watched Blossom. There were a lot of shows I wasn't allowed to watch growing up - like Blossom, My So Called Life, aynthing on MTV, The Simpsons (to this day I've still never seen an episode of The Simpsons)
I remember The Wonder Years. I had a big crush on Fred Savage. He was so cute.
Another show I loved was Are you Afraid of the Dark. It came on Nickolodeon, and a bunch of kids would sit around a camp fire and each week a different person would tell a ghost story. It was never that scary, but I still thought the show was so cool.
And yeah, I prefer JA with short hair as well. And I think I remember seeing or reading somewhere that he got started on some Soap Opera years ago. But I've never seen a Soap Opera before, so I have no clue if its true or which one it would have been.

^ Oh yeah, me too. Supernatural type shows are the top of my list. But when I saw JA was going to be on Supernatural, I knew I most definately had to watch it. (would have anyway, but some additional motivation is always nice) I had completely forgotten he was on Dawson's Creek. Wasn't his hair longer on that show?
Oh man, I was a Boy Meets World fan too. And yup, it was all Shawn/Sean on that one too. I loved me some Rider Strong back in the day.
Sabrina wasn't on TGIF until I was a bit older and had quit watching it so regularly. But I've seen a ton of episodes of it. And that one guy on there . . . I can't remember his name on the show. . . but he used to play on a Nickelodeon show called Hey Dude. I think his name was Ted on the Nick. show. I thought he was so cute too.
Just looked him up on IMDB. He played Josh on Sabrina. David Lascher is his name.

My other nephew just turned 5 a few days ago. And his birthday party is this weekend. So its also good for him that the baby didn't come now, because his party would have had to have been rescheduled. But I'm excited about the new baby. My sister and I are extremely close, and my son and my nephew are like brothers. So this new baby will (in a weird way) be like another son to me.
And two of my other friends both had babies in the last 24 hours, so I thought there was going to be a third one. But nope. A little more time is good though.

Didn't see this posted anywhere, so hopefully I didn't miss it if it was. Got this email today. . . WE'RE HAVING A BUFFY BASH IN BOSTON THIS OCTOBER! CineQuest.com, in partnership with Wizard Entertainment, is bringing six of our favorite Buffy and Angel starsl to the inaugural Wizard World New England Comic Con, Oct. 15-17 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. James Marsters, Charisma Carpenter, Nicholas Brendon, Amber Benson, Clare Kramer and Mercedes McNab are all scheduled to appear at the “Buffy Boston Bash” festival being done in partnership with CineQuest.com. The six guests will greet fans and participate in panels and discussions that highlight their roles in popular Joss Whedon television series such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Marsters, who played the vampire Spike in both series, was a big hit at the Philadelphia Comic Con earlier this month. His TV credits also include recurring roles in Caprica and Smallville. An accomplished singer, Marsters also crossed the pond with a memorable recurring role as Captain John Hart in the hit BBC Doctor Who spinoff, Torchwood. Carpenter, who portrayed Cordelia Chase in both series, also has roles in Charmed, Greek, Legends of the Seeker and in Veronica Mars as the scheming Kendall Casablancas among her more than 30 credits. This summer she’ll play opposite Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham in this summer’s major action film The Expendables. Brendon, who played Xander Harris, Buffy’s reliable and clown-fearing sidekick, has also been seen on Kitchen Confidential, Without a Trace and in a recurring role as Kevin Lynch in Criminal Minds. Benson, who played Willow’s beloved Tara Maclay on Buffy and the vampire Lenore on Supernatural, is an independent film maker (her most recent film is Drones) and author of Penguin Books’ popular Death’s Daughter books. Kramer, an actress, producer and restaurateur, played Glory, the evil goddess with a fashion sense, in Buffy and just completed production on two films, Endure and The Dead Ones, scheduled to be released this year. She starred with fellow Buffy/Angel alum Eliza “Faith” Dushku in the cheerleader film Bring It On and Tru Calling. She was also a popular guest at Philadelphia Comic Con this month. McNab reprised her Harmony Kendall role in Angel after portraying the unicorn-loving vampire in Buffy. She has appeared in more than 30 movies and TV shows. She’s also graced the pages and covers of both Playboy and FHM magazines. The Buffy Boston Bash also will feature James Marsters in concert, a screening of Amber Benson’s new independent film Drones, the largest-ever Buffy/Angel retail store and the premiere of new Buffy-related exclusive products. We'll be putting up special ticket packages in the next week that will include three-day passes, autographs and photo opportunities with all the stars!

My sister thinks she just went into labor! I'm going to be an aunt . . . again!!!!! This is so exciting. She's a couple weeks early though, so it may not actually be the real thing yet. Waiting for the phone call that says it is, then I am off to the hospital. Sigh . . . false alarm. No baby yet. But I guess in some ways that is a good thing because he would have been almost a month early. So this gives him more time to develop. But the Dr. says she could have it any day now, which I found a bit redundant considering we are approaching her due date. But oh well.

^ ha ha. True. And I guess I can't really say anything because the second Daniel Radcliff turned 18 he suddenly got really Hot as well. It was like they had stiffled his hottness under some filter and when he turned 18 they ripped it off. So, no judgement passed here.
Watched The Wild last night with my son. Been getting in as much quality time as I can before school starts back up . . . and its so hot here, you really can't do much outside during the day.

I'm right there with you, Jezebel Jinx, on the Jensen Ackles crush. The man is gorgeous!!!! With a Capital "G." He was the main reason I started watching Supernatural. Now I just really like the show, but in the beginning it was for him.
And yes, I never cared for Scrappy Doo either. He was a little brat.
And yes Dad, I didn't really care for the ending of Gilmore Girls either. I wished they had come back later and made a wrap up movie or something to tie together all the loose ends or something.

^^ I know. Seriously. If I wanted to hear your music, I would be in your car. Not in mine, or in a building across the street. Man, that has to be loud to be heard through a closed window with your own radio turned on.
