I watched the "Scream Queens" finale tonight. I have to say, for a VH1 reality show this thing turned out pretty good. Instead of another "_______ of Love" mess this was actually a competition that seemed to be judged on skill and merit to some degree. Amazingly enough, I think the person who actually deserved it one, not necessarily the prettiest or most likable. She does have a good "story" for TV, but I actually felt a bit of joy for her when she won. Usually I forget who won these things 5 minutes after I watch it. Anyone else peep this?

I don't know exactly what they are doing for the NYC event, but the Sing-Along in LA was really fun (It was not put on by Paley Center). I'm sorry I won't be able to make it to this one in New York!

"Chris has given me permission to announce the new book. I think people will probably get it from the full version of this cover. Big hint: It is indeed an episode adaptation. That said, there's only one episode I would consider adapting, and this is it." From Mooney's blog. The only ep I can think of is 'Not Fade Away.' And I, for one, am excited. Was hoping for something new, but will definitely be satisfied with something good and old. Especially if it's retold by Stephen. I'd have to agree with you about NFA. I'm guessing this is Illyria holding a dying Wesley. Oh well, it should be cool I guess, but I already know what happens

lol Well you can always just pretend it is coming out on the 31st and just go get it then if you don't want to drive so much. Ahh but then I'll miss out on the cool talking. And my comic store runs out of the buffy/angel comic the Saturday after that comic comes out Do you read alot of comics? Most stores will generate a "subscription" or "pull list" for you if you have a minnimum amount of titles. Just a thought.

Didn't Scott Allie pretty much confirm in his recent chat here that Harmony got out of L.A. before it was sent to hell? It sounds like we won't actually find out how she got out of L.A. before it was sent to hell but she did get out before After The Fall. Scott Allie's quote seems like it could go either way to me. It's entirely possible that he can't answer the question of how she got out of L.A. because, whoops, she didn't. I think he stayed very vague on purpose. Just my two cents. It seems that the general consensus is that S8 takes place 1.5 years after S7, which puts S8 1/2 year after Angel S5. AFT takes place directly after Angel S5, so it is very possible that LA will be out of hell before S8 even starts. Who knows how time passes in hell anyway? They may get out of hell and realize only a day has passed since the alley fight...

I'm guessing that its like "Blood and Trenches" as Wyndam said. Probaly a cool mini-series set sometime during the TV series.

I'm guessing that Kristen Bell only signed on for a certain number of episodes. She has some movies coming out a a growing career, so she may not be available for a full time gig. I could be wrong, I'm just guessing.

" You've probably read the news that Jane Espenson has joined the staff of Dollhouse, which means she'll be seeing Joss daily while writing her much-anticipated arc, which will feature Oz. Jane makes her Season Eight debut in the issue #21 one-shot, kick-starting the next arc. We're doing some unusual promotions for that issue, and you'll want to keep your eye on MySpace Dark Horse Presents (myspace.com/darkhorsepresents) and other places come the first of the year. We'll give you a full update here about what to look for when we're closer." The new MySpace Dark Horse presents features a Zack Whedon story about Moist (Dr. Horrible) and it also announces a Buffy story written by Jane Espenson with art by Karl Moline. This will be online on Jan 7th! Hurray for more Buffy, and Jane, and Karl!

Hmmmm. I'm not in love with this concept yet. I need to see more. Based on the preview there is not hint to any sort of story; just a bunch of familiar interactions. I'm not saying I won't like it, 'cause its still Buffy, I just want to see where this is going....

Seriously, I'm not expecting to see any Buffy on the big screen anytime soon. There's just too much going against it and not enough going for it. For starters the actors have all aged. This causes a problem, especially for the immortal characters. The movie would have to be set YEARS after season 8 which could hinder the storylines there. This is the biggest issue I would have with a movie. All I know is Angel better be human cause DB is not looking the same as he looked in '97. I'm not saying the dude looks bad, but even in Angel season 5 I was like "This Vampire is getting older". The longer they wait the more ridiculous it would become. I'm still a big fan of the idea of a CGI Movie or series of Animated videos, I think that's the best way to go. Those can happen at any time...

Hurray! The Guild is back with Season 2. So far there are 2 episodes (I just finished episode 1, getting ready to watch 2) available. Looks like the best way to get it is msn video, but I can't wait to download for free in High Def on XBox Live! Great episode, great cliffhanger! Who's watching? I'm wondering: Does Clara have an extra child now? I thought she only had 2...

These are great. I think she would do a great job with Buffy. I like it when arists capture the essence without trying to make the characters look too much like the actors.

I really liked the books, I think the movie was just OK. It was entertaining, but I think if I wasn't already hip to the story I would have brushed off the movie. The acting was mediocre, too many times I didn't beleive the words coming out of Bella's mouth (her delivery was kinda stiff). I hope they get better for New Moon.

Where did you hear that? I'm interested. Love him on Smallville, I think Brainiac is the most interesting villain they've had.

I don't know if I have too much to add, but I wanted to say how great it is that you participated in this. I beleive that this is the next step in the civil rights movement, and we must continue to fight for everyone's right to equality. You were part of something historic Mikey, and I hope that this fight is won. Mikey, if you continued to stay involved in the cause (as I am sure you will) please let me know what I can do to support it.

I don't understand the big debate. If someone does not like being called something, don't call them that. If you are not sure what people like, go with something safe. Or how about this-stop identifying people simply by the color of their skin.
I am black, and I don't mind being called black. I also don't mind "African-Americn" I don't like being called "n-word", or "colored" or "porch monkey" or anything like that.
Do you know what I like being called? "Jason. " Or, "friend", or "smart", or "incredibly hansome".
I guess this whole thing started with Lindsey Lohan saying something stupid. She needs to watch her mouth, but I don't think it's time to lock her up. I'm sure she didn't mean any harm. People say stupid things, doesn't mean they are stupid. It's just that the stupid things you and I say every day are not broadcast to the rest of the world.
Is colored offensive? It is if it offends someone.

I'm so excited. It seems like a fitting end to have Franco back in the fold for the last few issues. I can't wait to see how it all plays out, and I have faith that Brian and Joss will bring the goods.
