Congratulations, to all the winners! You all deserved it! ;D
There were SO many other pieces that were amazing too. I hope everyone feels proud of their own entries.

Tonight's episode was outstanding. The best so far, this season.
Things are finally getting as amazing as they should. The only plot that isn't as interesting as others is the plot(s) involving Jason, IMO.

Yeah, I might be picking up the Devil You Know trade as well. I've heard some good things about it. And I may try the ongoing again, once new writers come on.

This is amazing news. I cannot believe he's finally leaving. xD I never realized how much I wanted a new writer until now.
Yeah, I think starting with 39, the main title could be okay... Maybe.

I'm currently following everything. I collected Barbary Coast in its entirely but I actually haven't read it yet... might do it tonight. The Devil you Know is getting good, specially since the Pee Pee Demon is back (...with a Mistress!) The main title was rather funny last issue, and I'm excited to finally have a Big Bad. Also, I feel better about the main title now that I know that Willingham's run will end at #38. I'm definitely excited for the Illyria miniseries to explore Illyria's head. And we have a chick editor/writer that actually sounds like she knows what she's talking about! Can't wait for Angel Vs Frankenstein's Monster II... And I'm jumping on board the Spike-train. Oh, it ends at 38? Do we know who is taking over after that?

Since Angel has a handful of titles, and more on the way, I thought I'd ask...
What titles are you following? Which ones will you be?
I'm planning on following the Spike Ongoing Series, from start to finish. And I'm interested in the Illyria miniseries coming, possibly.

I knew it!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D That's so awesome. And she's 'trying to ruin his future', or something? Where did you hear that she's trying to ruin his future? So if Willow was in contact with Spike a year before season 8, she's presumably been holding out on Buffy? And would this explain why Willow seemed to recognize Spike's ship when it plowed into Twilight's HQ, and knew that it was friend and not foe? "No Bad too big in this all-new monthly series! The fan-favorite Angel team of Brian Lynch and artist Franco Urru are back! And this time, it's all about Spike. He's out on his own, away from Angel's watchful eye, and in charge of his own destiny. Lover, fighter, vampire with a soul, he's kick-starting his biggest adventure yet. Damsels, prepare to be saved and wooed! Forces of evil, get ready to be destroyed and mocked! Featuring guest-appearances by Angel, Illyria, and a face from the past seeking to destroy his future!" I figured that that meant Willow? Maybe I was just assuming wrong.

Yeah, I doubt it will be in a collected edition. That's why I bought the issue. It's such a nice comic too. I suggest it to any Angel fan. Probably the best Angel comic recently.

Well, there's been an eight minute preview shown at comic con. It's the FIRST eight minutes of the film. I found a description of it, and here's what happens. Spoilers. The film opens with Dr. Gordon crawling down the dark hallway. We can see his stump leaving a trail of blood. It's all new footage of him! He grabs a hold of a burning hot pipe, or something, and pulls back. After a few seconds, Gordon starts to cauterize his wounded leg/foot/ankle/whatever. So it's obvious that he lived through that. But it doesn't say what happens to him next. :X Then it goes on to show the 'Public Trap'. Once the trap is shown and finished, it cuts to the title, 'Saw 3D'. And... OVER! Cannot WAIT. ;D

Well, I saw this over at Whedonesque. My first reaction was, "... Seriously?"
I can't believe ANOTHER miniseries is coming out. Even if it is about Illyria. I love her. But I'm iffy on this. I've just officially given up on the main title, but maybe this will be decent. The cover is beautiful, for sure. I just hope the story/art is as good inside.

I'm waiting for leaked footage of the first eight minutes. ;D I heard the preview will include Mark Hoffman and Lawrence Gordan scenes, which is exciting news. The first new footage of Dr. Gordon since he crawled away in Saw!
And that trailer was so awesome. Poor Jill. It looks like she's a goner there... Which makes me think she'll live. Why would they show her death cause in the trailer, and so obviously? Plus, I think she's smiling, and nothing seems to be holding her arms, unless they are thin wires or ropes.

I really hope my local 'comic book store' gets the first issue on the first day. xD I want this series to be my first one, where I can buy it personally each time, as I've always bought my issues off of ebay, or whatever.
Just a quick question, do comic stores not get the issue if you don't go in, and request it? I'm a bit of a noobie to the comic buying life. ;D

The film has been pushed back a week, to October 29th. And it's official title is Saw 3D.
The link posted in the reply above also has the first released poster. I found a 3D digital version of it somewhere earlier, but cannot find it at the moment. It was pretty cool.
I'm getting ready to watch that trailer. I'm super excited. I think this is my most anticipated movie to see. ^_^

My guess is that this series will go on for a while. Or, I really hope, at least. I'll be trying to get every cover for this series, cause that's how amazing it is/will be.

I thought I'd drop in, and give my thoughts on this HC.
I saw it in the store just a few days ago, and was totally shocked. I picked it up on instinct. The cover is really nice. BUT. I decided not to get it in the end. There's a new numbering on the side, instead of '7' there's '1'. This proved to me that it isn't considered canon in my mind. With the new 'Spike' series coming, and the failure of the 'Angel' ongoing, this was the final push.
I'll be probably ignoring this series from now on. I was trying to give it a chance, but there seems to be no point in it anymore. 'Spike' is finally here, and that's that. I can actually have decent stories to read with the characters. ^_^

It's heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere!!! ;D (I'm so getting as many covers as possible for this issue. The two so far have been amazing.) Written by Brian Lynch, art and cover by Franco Urru. www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/1007/21/spike1.htmNo Bad too big in this all-new monthly series! I wonder if the comic will be available with every copy? Or just pre ordered ones? I died when I heard this news, for real. I cannot believe it's happening. ;D

I resisted the temptation to vote for my own piece. xD
The three I voted for were just so amazing. The styles and all were just so professional. Someone went as far as to do a whole page? Props to you.
There were SO many creative ideas up there. Like the concept of Buffy/Twilight reflecting down to Buffy/Angel. I loved that image. And the circus one was so fun. xD Annnd the puppet Angel and Spike; Brilliant. And can't forget the Joss thinking of Buffy. Simple, but very smart.
Good luck, everyone.

I loved the Astonishing X-Men motion comics, so I'm glad this is being done. I just hope the voices sound like the original actors/actresses. :/
