Illyria roamed the streets of Los Angeles, as if she were a lost child. Her hair clung to her face, still damp from the raining, alleyway battle. "Even the skies weep. Illyria thought to herself. Something as big, and powerful, as the skies above shed tears; Was everything in this life connected to emotion?
The Old One pitied herself. For she had been great at one time. Now the great Illyria had been reduced to this one, single body, been stripped of her mighty gifts, and was now lost, with nowhere to go. No one to find. Since when had she been this weak? The truth was this: Illyria had been fooling her own mind. There was no way to become great, not as she had been. It was too late, and too far away.
And then... It came to her. Something to seek out. To find comfort in. Illyria suddenly changed her path, and turned down an open highway. A handful of cars were crashed along the sides, yet none drove in the center. Two demons occupied the other side of the street, but ignored Illyria; They could sense her unstableness, and strength. Although reduced, she was still much stronger than these mongrels.
The walk to her destination gave Illyria much time to reflect. Had Wesley ever meant this much to her, before now? Illyria had always looked down upon him. Yet now that he was gone... She almost wanted him back, as much as she wanted her lost abilities. Wesley Wyndam-Pryce had been this demon's only... Civil acquaintance. Surely 'friend' was not the word she was looking for. They were not that close. And somehow, Illyria regretted that they never world be.
Coming to her turning point, Illyria slowed herself. Within a few moments she was standing in front of a large, metal gate. It was rusted a tad bit, nowadays, for it hadn't been tended to in quite some time. Illyria grabbed at the door, and pulled on it... Locked. She tugged much harder, and the door practically flew off. Next, Illyria made her way along the small path, passing the garden area. The following steps led her to the entrance of the Hyperion Hotel.
She paused for a second, glaring at the shut, twin doors. Suddenly, with all of her might, Illyria kicked the doors open. Once they were removed, out of her way, Illyria was able to see the lobby of the hotel. It was darkened, and smelled dusty. Memories instantly came to mind, but she tried to shut them out. Fred's presence haunted this place. Everywhere Illyria turned was a knew ghost.
She made her way through the lobby, ignoring all of these thoughts. Her feet carried her up the staircase, and into a hallway. Illyria was following something that was unseeable. She finally reached a door, and it spoke to her. With the touch of a finger, the door slowly creaked open. This was Fred's room... It had been, at least.
Illyria took her time, but walked over to the farthest wall. Her eyes rested on the white wall, inspecting it. Her right arm raised, and placed itself on this spot. "... 'Handsome man saves me from the monsters.'" She spoke, in a fragile voice. Mental images of this wall being painted came back to her... The drawing being erased.
She turned on her foot, and made her backside slam into the wall. Illyria slowly sunk down to the floor, and hid her face in her knees. If the skies could mourn... So could the God-King Illyria.

What we're doing it just this: Using the setting of After the Fall. This RP takes place in Hell, just as the comics did. RPers can choose if they want their character(s) to experience certain things that happened in the comics, or not. For example, in the comics, Gwen is not able to touch living things any more. In this RP, if you want, she can touch things. It's totally up to you. I'll add you to the list(s).

((OOC: Night Lord, I'd say it's up to you. He's your character, so go ahead, and do whatever you'd like to do. ) Once Harmony had finished sharing her proposition, Illyria remained silent. She allowed awkwardness to fill in the air. Finally opening her mouth to talk, Illyria simply stated, "... You speak too much."Her blue orbs searched the area around them, inspecting for enemies. The demons of Los Angeles were starting to realize this new situation, and taking advantage of it. A fight could burst out at any given moment, and Illyria was ready. And quite frankly, she needed something to hit. Being around this vampire, Harmony, was making Illyria want to ensue this need. Once sure that it was safe enough to lower her down a bit, Illyria added to her vague statement. "My first instinct is to seek out Wesley. But he is not one to be sought out, not in this time." She paused, feeling some sort of passion run through her body. What was this odd feeling? It was greater than grief... Illyria turned her eyes back to Harmony slowly. "... I have no one to look for!" She stated with much more aggression. With these words leaving her mouth, Illyria turned on her heel, and began to march away from this scene. She had no one to search for. She was alone once again, without a guide.

I don't think that's the ship...
I really like this, but it doesn't look much like Drusilla, IMO. Looks like a brown haired Buffy, who needs a tan, if you ask me.

Aw, I love Dru! ;D She isn't in my top ten, but I really do like her. My favorite 'Dru' moment is in 'The Girl in Question'. When Angelus and Spike see that The Immortal has slept with Darla. Spike goes on to see Drusilla walk out as well, and gets mad as well, because he also slept with Dru. Dru asks, "Is it time for another pony ride?" And she also says, "He(The Immortal) felt like sunshine." The way she says it, and the way she moves is SO funny. It's the last time Dru appears in the show(s), I believe, and it was amazing! Will you hold me under the water? If you wish.

Yeah, the first issue is: 'Alone Together Now."
And issue two is: 'What Happens in Vegas Slays in Vegas."
According to Brian, each issue will have it's own 'episode' title.

Illyria watched as Harmony got to her feet. The smell of this halfbreed entered her nostrils, and she wrinkled her nose. Illyria never understood why perfume was thought to smell delightful; It smelled like rotting roaches, in her own opinion. And all these bright colors that Harmony wore... Pink; The look of these tints made Illyria want to vomit.
She narrowed her eyes at Harmony, as the vampire spoke of Winifred Burkle. She was recalling the same memories that Illyria had, herself. Just as the Old One was about to interrupt Harmony's meaningless rambling, the subject was changed all by itself.
"Look I just want to know where Angel is, please."
Illyria glared at the vampire, as she dared to look into a God-King's eyes. Thinking this matter over for a few seconds, Illyria came back with something to reply. "Angel..." She thought over this name. "An Angel in Hell." Illyria stated, looking up into the scarlet sky. "How... Ironic."
Moving passed this little side note, Illyria turned her attention back to Harmony's bothersome question. "Your fellow bloodsucker was battling, as was I. Yet now the battling has..." She trailed off.
"I am unsure, which is a rare occasion. Things have been jumbled up, and spat back out."

I think it'd be great if Gwen was apart of the new Spike series. Maybe she could pop up.

Illyria tilted her head to its other side as Harmony greeted her. Was this mongrel actually trying to be civil with her? Thoughts ran through her head like rampaging children, all telling her one thing: Rip this vampire apart, limb from limb. Illyria went over the facts; This foul excuse of un-dead life, Harmony, was without a soul. As far as Illyria was concerned, she was only to kill soulless halfbreeds. No soul means evil, correct? No remorse when lacking in soul.
Just as Illyria had decided on an amusing way to slaughter the vampire, she hesitated. Memories of enjoyment flooded into her head... Memories that included Harmony. Illyria raised her right hand to her temple, as she remembered Fred's one-time involvement with the vampire. Fred had seen worth in this creature; Was there more to have than a soul?
"... My hair. " She repeated quietly, listening to Harmony's compliments. "This is the best you can do, vampire? Complimenting this human hair? It only rests on this shell! That doesn't make it Illyria's!"
Illyria breathed in heavily, making her chest move inward and outward. It took much inner strength to keep herself from ripping Harmony's head off of her neck. Once Illyria had taken a few moments to 'simmer down', something she had been working on with Wesley, she continued to interact with Harmony.
"On your feet... Before I go forth with my plan of decapitating you."

^^^ Hmm, possibly. But that doesn't explain why she can't touch now... Or maybe Gwen can touch, and just wears this type of clothing?

A Gwen one-shot would be really cool. Maybe show what she's currently up to (like on the run), while giving flashbacks of her torture, or something... Hey, I'd buy! ;D

Hmm, maybe the experiments they did on Gwen made her full powers come back? She could touch in Aftermath, right?

So her chip only makes her able to touch, but doesn't take away her abilities. Got it! Thanks for the reply. *Karmas*

Since Gwen is now back in a non-Hell LA, does she have her electricity powers? I can't remember, on the show, if she had her powers still(and just could touch now), or not.
If someone could clarify that for me, I'd be very grateful, as it's a question that's been on my mind for a while.

My canon view:
Spike is canon. No doubt. Is the current Angel series? No, not at all. Spike may be spinning out of that series, but it isn't the same story. Brian is telling one, and character-voice-tone-deaf writers are telling the other. If Spike contains information about the Angel story, than that story is canon. By story, I don't mean EXACTLY what is being told in the Angel series. I mean: It's just a plot that has been spoken of, and is only considered canon, because it was barely mentioned in a canon series. That doesn't make Bill's arc(s) canon; Not completely at least.
I hope that all makes sense. I get what I mean, but it's hard to explain. xD
I'm just hoping Brian uses Angel and Illyria as much as possible. They both need to be saved from the ongoing disaster.

Great review. I'm really excited about the Spike series, and the crossover within. But I'm fearing Buffy Season Nine. From what I can piece together, S9 is going to be a big, tangled, Jossless mess. Maybe I'll be proved wrong, but I have pretty big doubts about the future.
