The Remote Free TV was excellent.
I just watched the first episode. I thought it was really good.
The main character reminded me of a mix of Buffy and Kate Lockely.

So, this is only the first 5 issues? What about the other ones?
I'd want something like this but for the rest of the series.

I LOVE Smile Time. I was very surprised when I first starting talking with other forum members here and learned there were some people who disliked the episode. I think it's brilliant and hilarious. The not so subtle poke at the networks about the way they do business and how it's making Angel the Series into a useless puppet. The way the networks bleed the creative process and their desire for a mindless addicted audience all in the name of the nest egg. The episode moved beyond the season 5 story to comment and satirize the show. Angel was the puppet of the Senior Partners in season 5 the way Angel the Series was a puppet of the WB. It was both relevant to the season's arc and to the reality of where AtS stood during that tumultuous year. For those of us who lived through the sorrow of AtS being cancelled and the bitter feelings towards the network who pulled the plug, it was a creative response to the (IMO) idiocy of cancelling AtS. I've never really understood why some fans dislike it so much. Perhaps they missed the context that the episode was written in? I'd be interested in hearing why exactly people dislike Smile Time. I think it's one of the most brilliant episodes. Wow, Emmie. You completely changed my entire perspective on the episode!! I loved the episode but now I REALLY love it. I originally just thought it was handled really well, made season 5 amazing, and really was funny. But now that you added all this other stuff into it, I might just have to re-watch this episode with all this in mind. Wow.

I'm all for the Buffy and Angel cross-over, when it happens but if we are going to include characters into the mix, I sure hope we start with characters from BTVS. Like say, Giles. I mean come on, his absence is becoming painful. Brian Lynch says that he believes Buffy probably already knows Spike is alive, which isn't surprising, since Andrew knows. At this point I'd prefer to see Buffy somehow cross-over to ATS to help Angel out, when the time is right. I really want a Buffy/Angel crossover. I really think this whole comic book thing needs that right now.

She had an appointment with Joss... Just a I-don't-want-to-go-to-the-future-and-I-don't-like-this-script talk:P Joss in LA, though. I like the theory, though. Maybe she was talking to the New York branch of the Fox offices to see if she can kind of overthrow Joss. I think she failed. HAHHAHAHAHAHA

I had a dream that Part IV ended without Buffy getting back to present and the next issue or two would have something to do with her getting back. So it was like the arc folded over into the rest of the season. It was interesting.
And I'm still trying to decide if killing Fray would be a good idea next issue. I mean, they probably won't use her character much after this unless she goes back to the present with Buffy which I highly doubt. It will certainly come as a shock if they do kill her off.

Well, based on Issue 21's cover on Buffy... she will definitely be seen over in Buffy: Season 8.
But, maybe they will have her shown in Angel: After the Fall also.
What would REALLY be cool, is have a flashback of her in AtF but IN Buffy season 8 and what happened to her when she tells Buffy and the gang about Hell-A.

It depends. I prefer the arc in Buffy than individuals.
But I dunno.
It depends on how long the series is.

I don't think Buffy is a girly show. I think it's for everyone, male or female. Hanna Montana is what I call a girly show lol... Hey I like Hannah Montanna I like Hannah Montana too. I'd consider it a KIDS show, though. It's not exactly for older people at all.
