Sideshow should make a Statue of Buffy sitting on a grave with a stake and the syche leaning up the stake. And then Angel one side of her and Spike the other side and a hand coming out the grave. Leave out the Scythe and it's perfect. Don't get me wrong, the scyhe is awesome, but I feel that synerio(I totally misspelt that, I know) would be better with just the stake. When I think of that scene, I totally think of early Buffy, like little dress and skirt Buffy. |

Hm, it seems as the sculptors has taken some of their inspiration from the Buffy comics as well. I remember seeing that kind of dress and boots combination on Buffy in the "Time of Your Life" arc. Its the orange dress that is "so damn impractical"? Faith's stance is verrrrry similar to one comic where she is on the cover. I don't remember the exact comic but I'm pretty sure it's in the "No Future For You" arc. Oh wait, I found a pic of both girls. Here ya go:   Look familar? Willow's sculpture is obviously pre-season 4 because of the Werewolf in her backpack.  That is one sculpture I will not be buying. here here! omg, I agree. Why would they do that when they can make such a KICKASS one with her doing some sort of magic. Like make her look as powerful and authoritative as Buffy, maybe more! |

I saw a pic of Buffy next to an apple on their site  , so it looks like the 12" figures would look good next your her because the scale is very close. |

Faith doing magic? Seems out of character. I think he was talking about Willow. It would make more sense for him to be talking about Willow anyway. I'm still not sure how I feel about these. I think it looks neat enough, but doesn't seem very Buffy to me. |

To be completely honest, I don't really like this statue  I can see that it is very well made and has great detail and design as a general statue, but as a Buffy statue, I'm not sure....I don't get the throne, and I don't like the pose. Buffy looks smug and superior, which is so not how she ever came across, and also cold and a bit weird. I couldn't afford one anyway lol but even if I could, I think I would rather buy some other statues that depicted her as she really was  |

I think Faith will look really cool, but season 4 Willow? I would have love season 7 or even season 6 so I am going to pass on her. Others that I would spend money on are:
Angel; in an alley way with his long jacket and arm stakes, or black tank top in his apartment background.
Cordelia; ‘You're Welcome’ outfit with sword.
Illyria; fight scene!

But if I wait for Angel/Cordy/Anya/Darla/Wes/Illyria/Fred/Xander to be made (or even in the plan) then Buffy and Faith could be sold out or cost more by the time the others that I want are out. |

I pre-ordered mine. I couldn't help myself, its Buffy. Although I may be regretting it when that big chunk comes out of my account in a couple of months. lol
The impression I was left with was they would definately make enough for the pre-orders they get. But anything beyond that, I don't know. So, if you wait, you'll be buying it from someone online through amazon or ebay or something and probably paying a much higher price than what it is listed for now.
But I completely agree. I hope the line continues. I would love to see more of these made. Illyria would be awesome! (She would also be really cool as an Electric Tiki Tooned Up statue)

It has a dark red dress (not bright red like in the promo pics) and I think a few other changes have been made as well, mainly to the face paint. |

im not impressed. Sideshow failed at getting Eliza likeness again. and also im not loving the whole referenced-to-season-8-thing when they couldn't even give her the paint can and make her a decent base. It's not like i can buy this anyways if it's going to be almost $300 like the Buffy one. Sideshow, please keep making the Tooned up line, i can almost afford those!  |

I got my throne of the slayer a week or so ago. It is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. So, I'm happy with the purchase, even though there was never a throne in the show.
Faith looks decent. Depending on when it comes out, I may order it too.
But I agree with you, PJ. I wish they would make some more tooned up figures. Those are so much fun and they aren't too horribly expensive.

Oooooh how exciting! Willow looks a little strange...I'm not quite sure what it is, but she looks a bit cheap (as in making her character look cheap, not the statue being cheaply done). A bit like that schoolgirl statue things you can get, I can't remember her name, but they look cheap and trashy. It will come to me later... I like Faith though  |
