Does anyone know where I could subscribe to the Buffy Season Eight comics online so I can have them arrive at my door on day of release or near day of release in the UK?
I dont have a comic book store near me so I would love to be ablt to safely subscribe.

Sorry, you might just have to either travel the extra distance to a comic shop or wait for them
I get mine from a place called "Page 45" in Nottingham where they get them on the day- I'd seriously recommend it if you live anywhere near there

There used to be a place called Planet Ace nearby who sold them but they closed down last year Thanks anyway

Sorry for the double post but YAY!!! After alot of internet research, google maps and help from my friends I-Phone I have located a comic store 10mins from where I live, the only one in the town I live. Turns out the one I used to go too didn't close down. It moved building and changed its name. Went over today and set up an account. They get the Buffy comics in on day of release and are going to reserve me one. They also had Buffy figurines, busts, trading cards and the library playset. I am a very happy man now

Wow I'm glad it all worked out well It took me nearly a year of ordering Buffy and Angel comics online to find my nearest comic store, but they tend to be obscurely tucked away

I don't know what I'd do if my local comic store closed down.
Barnes & Noble usually has them, but that's much less convenient to get to, and I'm not sure they have them right on Wednesday.

I would break down and cry. Barnes & Noble doesn't carry single issues in the shelves, just trade paperbacks - at least in my experience. You might be able to special-order them somehow, but I don't see that being very plausible (or usable for monthly comics).

My Barnes & Noble carries some single issues, which they put in the magazine section with the manga stuff. It's mostly Marvel and DC stuff, but they have Dark Horse's major titles too. I haven't checked recently to see if they still carry Buffy.

The comic store I go to don't carry single issues on the shelves. They just carry TPB and omnibuses. But they order in the issues for you if you ask which is cool. They have them on the Thursday (There out Thursdays in the UK not Wed). Yeah the comic store I finally found was also tucked away billieerin. They had a Buffy Season Eight poster on the wall and they said they will give it to me next week, there going to get a different poster to fill the gap first

Wow about the poster (I want one!)
I don't know what I'd do if my comic shop closed down . . . I know a place in Meadowhall that does single issues but that's all the way over in Sheffield . . .

Hi there, a Buffy fan and occassional peruser of the forums her. Just registered to let Midnight Butterfly know that the comic shop in Derry hasn't closed but moved. It's now on the street that goes towards the Fountain off Carlisle road. I get my copies there each month.
