I think this episode marks the beginning of the death toll. As things wind down, I'm sure this name will become a list.
This thread is in memory of all the great Dollhouse characters who will have lost their lives by the end of the show.
Bennett Halverson

Her small Wikipedia mention reads:
Bennett Halverson (Summer Glau), introduced in "The Public Eye," is the D.C. Dollhouse's programmer. Prior to the events of the series (and becoming Echo), Caroline is Bennett's best friend. However, Caroline leaves Bennett for dead in a lab explosion which costs her the use of her left arm. When Bennett attempts to kill Echo by imprinting Daniel Perrin with an assassin persona, she is thwarted by Topher, who initially develops an attraction towards her.
This article fails to mention Bennett's genious, or the fact that she never knew the truth about why Echo left her there. It doesn't mention the depth of the budding relationship she had with Topher. Her death was sudden and we were only just getting to know her. Her loss was a tragedy in the scope of the great losses in Whedonverse history. It was sudden, like Tara's death. It was heartbreaking, like Fred's. When Amy Acker's character, Claire Saunders, pulled the trigger, the irony was especially stinging.
