I've said this is another thread, but it's worth repeating:
If you don't wish to be spoiled (specially about who Twilight is) turn off the avatar & banner function in your profile so you can't see them. Because right now, banners are being made, that will spoil you for something you've waited years to find out.

Thanks for the advice. I'm trying to remain unspoiled, but it's going to be a nightmare. I'd never have thought that people would put such a huge spoiler in their banner (and I'm surprised if they're allowed to).
I've been avoiding all the threads here and elsewhere about Twilight's identity, in case people aren't hiding it in invisible text. As this thread is about advice on how to not be spoiled, can I ask if the issue 34 thread here is completely spoiler free, other than stuff in hidden text?
I don't even want to read the slightest hint of who Twilight is, but I am really keen to read about how this happened and how people feel about it. Seems like an unbelievably bad mistake.

The issue 34 thread is filled with spoilers. We always discuss any spoilers we get in the issue-thread the spoiler concerns. I'm not sure if the Twilight-thread is safe either.
I'm not sure, but maybe you could create a new spoiler-free thread to find out more about this? Not sure if that would be allowed, since there's already a lot of talk about it in the issue 34 thread.

Stay away from any of the Twilight arc issue threads (#31-34), the Twilight Speculation Thread, and the Twilight Unmasked Contest thread if you don't want to be spoiled. Might have to end up staying away from all things Buffyverse for a while, as the news has spread rapidly and all over the place.

I was going to suggest to hide under a rock actually, but erased that part, even though it was just for lolz. Avoiding media seems like a good idea tough. Spoiler for issue 34: And you don't think two popular characters turning on each other like that won't make a few papers? I hope not, but I think that would be big news, for non-season 8 readers too. I mean, wasn't Buffy sleeping with Satsu in a few mags/papers? And the spoiler-paranoia is definitly worth it. Could you imagine how wonderful it must be to not know? |

I wish I'd had a chance to stop myself from finding out, but I stumbled into one of the Twilight threds, expecting to read and post more random theories and there it was
I don't want to control or limit other people but in my personal opinion it is a little unfair to create banners that can spoil it for others
I don't want to sound dumb or anythig but how do you get one of those spoiler buttons over your text because I want to be careful for those who don't know yet
