I think Nerdherder (the ones that wrote Buffy's theme song?) played in Bad Girls Nerf Herder played at the Bronze in "Empty Places" ("What kind of band plays during an apocalypse?" "I think this band is actually one of the signs.") I could be wrong, but I don't think any bands played during "Bad Girls". The band on stage in "Faith, Hope, and Trick" was Darling Violetta, who a year later did the theme song for "Angel"...

Dingoes Ate My Baby, while fictional, was portrayed by a real band, Four Star Mary. Wikipedia says that many "Dingoes" songs from the show ended up on one of Four Star Mary's albums.

Cibo Matto played in the first episode of season 2. Michelle Branch in Season 6 episode Tabula Rasa... I don't think a band played in Bad Girls, but that scene where Faith and Buffy are dancing is the song Chinese Burn by Curve, but I don't think it was actually the band there playing. :/

The song from "Doppelgangland," in the scene where Vamp Willow walks into the Bronze for the first time, is "Virgin State of Mind" by K's Choice. ( Lyrics here.)

^ Yes they did. They played "Moment Of Weakness" and "Lucky". Lucky is an amazing song I am simply in love with it. The Buffy album [first one listed above] is one of the only if not the only album that song is on. It is not on any of the Bif Naked albums.
Also, The song "Blue" is not on any of the Angie Hart albums. All of her albums are imports and none of them include this song.
If you want the songs from the show the best way to get them is by buying the Buffy albums. There are 4 albums. BTVS: The Album,BTVS: Radio Sunnydale,BTVS: Radio Sunnydale [import], and BTVS: The original Score.
BTVS: The Album, and BTVS: The Original Score are both available for MP3 download from Amazon. However, Both of the BTVS: Radio Sunnydale cd's are available in CD format only. I'm sure you can get the albums on Ebay if you look.

I really like Aimee Mann's 'Pavlov's bell'....its the song from 'Sleeper' that Spike interupts by throwing a dusty-vamp onto the stage. I think it said in the commentary that they were the only Bronze band with a speaking part. And thanks,Evilwillowrocker & Zombierella for the whats-what and where to buy with the CDs, I'll be picking up the Radio-sunnydale CD pretty quick....I've been looking for a copy of 'The final fight' for ages.

Pavlov's Belly by Aimee Mann is also one of my favourites - and the accompanying fight between Spike and his "one bite stand" is awsome. Aimee Mann was also the only singer who got a line. She said, leaving the Bronze, "I hate playing Vampire towns"
Erm ... On my "Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Album" there's other tracks, including one of my all time favourites by Face To Face, The Devil You Know (God Is A Man). Don't know from which episode though.

K's Choice also played The Bronze. Their most memorable song is Addict but they have a few others that are good as well
