I never much liked the Spuffy sex scenes. I could never watch them without remembering how Buffy would feel afterwards. The scenes are hot, partly because they're wrong, but every time I watch them, something inside of me wants to die. Sorry to be a downer. I just prefer the non sex Spuffy scenes.

I'd have to say one of the sexiest scenes is Buffy/Spike in the building falling down around them scene. Can I just say YES, YES AND YES. I mean seriously how hot was it hearing the sound of that zipper. Admit it ladies you know you like it. Lol. Oh Moon Eyes, you mind reader you.

Although it's cleverly played for comic effect, the most racy Spuffy scene is surely the one in "Gone" Xander walks in on!
ANGEL-US- that's an awesome banner. Karma!

Riley and Buffy in Where the Wild Things Are, anyone? I didn't find those scenes half as bad. Liked the condome.

^^ I don't find the Biley scenes so much sexy as annoying. I do like other aspects of the episode though.

To me the sexiest moment was seeing the vampire Willow for the first time in 'The wish', the dark Willow was always a sexy looking female.

This site has a fun takedown of the Spike/Buffy sex scenes, comparing the way they unfold on screen to what the laws of anatomy and physics would cause to actually happen. It's pretty funny.

Have to add Joyce in Restless to the list. It was good seeing her have a chance to be sexy mom for a change. I can certainly see why Xander would entertain these types of thoughts about Joyce. She is after all, a very attractive woman. She was pretty sexy in Band Candy as well. It was fun to see her younger side.

For me it's:
- Buffy trying to seduce Xander in Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered - Faith taunting Spike in Who Are You? - Pretty much everything involving Vamp Willow - The moments in Fool for Love where the Spuffy tension is really obvious - The last part of Under You Spell - Buffy and Spike has sex in Smashed and it makes the house fall down!! O.O

I think Spike's dream scene at the beginning of season 5 in which he realises he loves Buffy, purely because he has great hair in that episode, he was shirtless, and it was short so left you wanting more.

Honestly, I don't find very many scenes in either Buffy or Angel that are sexy, simply because there weren't any. Seriously, there is not one scene that is sexy. I don't think any of the scenes were made to be sexy and if there was, they failed

I would have to continue watching the series to get more, but the sexiest scene I can remember would be when Buffy attempted to seduce R.J., also when Buffy and Spike were "Smashed" that house in season seven (I think it was season seven). I find the "ick" factor of the school employee, authority figure and legal guardian putting the moves on her little sister and not-quite-daughter's jailbait intended boyfriend pretty much puts the damper on any sexiness in the R.J. scene. (Although, interestingly, the actor who plays R.J. is older than both Michelle Trachtenberg and Sarah Michelle Gellar.) Actually, that episode had more than its share of "ick" factor, between the seduction scene and Xander and Willow's brain soap moment in the Bronze...

DR, I agree with you on the Where the Wild Things Are episode. That was pretty sexy. I also like in When She Was Bad, when Buffy is dancing with Xander at the Bronze asking him if she'd ever thanked him for saving her life. Kind of mean, but kind of sexy too.
Sadly though, there weren't a whole lot of in your face sexy moments in the show. There were some hot moments, but I think there is a difference between hot and sexy. But I could just be over-analyzing. I've been known to do that.

Buffy was very close to their age, so it didn't really matter. RJ was, like, 17 or 18, while Buffy was only 23. Though that it 6 years ahead, she was still close to their age in mind, body, and etc. It's not the chronological age that squicks me -- heck, Buffy was 16 when she dated a guy in his 240s, and if R.J. is a senior, the age difference is only four years -- but rather the context. She is an employee of the school and an authority figure. He's a student. It's a major violation of professional and workplace ethics, and in many states it's illegal. (I don't know about California, but in Michigan a teacher can get criminally prosecuted for inappropriate sexual contact with a student, even if that student is of age.) It's not just that he's a high school student and she's an adult ... it's that he's a high school student and she's an adult who has authority over him. If she weren't under the influence of the spell, her behavior would be all kinds of reprehensible. And even knowing that she's being influenced magically, there's still that "ick" factor, just because she's the hero and it's uncomfortable to watch her acting immorally, even when she's being controlled by something else.
