I just bought a new 2009 imac last night!

I bought a new 2009 imac with a 21.5 widescreen. It also came with the new magic mouse and the cutest key board ever! It's so tiny! I also bought the I work program for graphing,spread sheets etc..and a lot of programs came already loaded on the computer. For example it has time machine. Time Machine is an imac program that when you hook up for disc drive to it, it will save all of your information every hour to ensure that you don't lose anything! It also has Safari the worlds fastest internet, Itunes,Quicktime,Garage band where you can learn to play an instrument, imovie,iphoto,photo booth so you can take pictures of yourself. Did I mention that this computer has a built in camera, built in cd disc drive, and a built in sd drive? EEK! I am just super excited. Does anyone else have one of these?

For those of you who are curious...With taxes,a 3 year warranty,and an application program the total of this bad boy came to $1,699! I know...I am out of my mind. I am well aware of this!

I bought mine at Best Buy. They have this great program where you can pay for a large priced item in either 18 months or 48 months. I chose to pay $32 a month [or more] for 48 months [or less]. What I did was I applied for a Best Buy credit card and I got approved right there at the store so I was able to use the card even before I received it in the mail! I got approved for $3,000 so I was VERY happy!

PS: Mac's don't get virus' so I'd consider getting one if your computer is a virus magnet like my old one was!

I'm just SOOO happy. I had to share my love for this marvelous computer with you!

Congrats. I've been a Mac convert for almost 10 years now. I have a 2009 17" MacBook Pro (previously had a 2005 15" PowerBook G4) and I adore it.

Congratulations! My parents actually bought an iMac because of all the viruses that we'd get on PCs...aanndd, I kept inexplicably crashing my computers. I DUNNO WHY it just kept happening! I was too curious for my own good! But the iMac is really easy to handle though. I love using it to edit my videos.

Yeah my computer was a magnet for disasters. It always got virus'. The sad part was I never went to any websites where there should have been virus'. Now I don't have to worry about that anymore and I am so psyched!

You just have to hope that Apple doesn't become the leading platform for home users because if that happens there will be many a virus made for it

i'm 23 and i have had 2 computers crash on me every year since i was 13 so 20 computers... I am pretty sure I hold some sort of record...
