^ I've seen the first one before -- I actually had it as my desktop once -- but I haven't seen the second one. I really like it! If anyone didn't know, the Metroid franchise was influenced heavily by the Alien film series. Take a look at the cat in the fanart I posted above. Clearly a reference to the cat in Alien.
Also, do you like Metroid, Lurchibald?

I really love the new Batman screenshots, though I'm apprehensive about the idea of multiplayer. What will it be, multiple Batmans fighting together or against each other? Lame. That said, Harley looks hot, although she reminds me of a blond, pigtailled BloodRayne

I had a $20 promo code on Amazon and I just used it to preorder Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. Anyone else getting this game?
Also, apparently Duke Nukem Forever was actually playable at PAX and is coming out in 2011.

Multiplayer will most likely be a Batman + Catwoman co-op mode. That was the other thought I had for multiplayer. If that's the case, it means that it will online multiplayer and I'm getting tired of all the games being online multiplayer only, except for fighting games. They're just not really fun for me anymore. I don't have online capabilities and nobody around wants to play fighting games with me cuz I always kick their asses  |

I think Eric should know that I played metroid prime 2 echoes two nights ago. I started a new game hoping that I would not get horribly lost and the get frustrated and stop. But nope, I really really suck at that game.

But nope, I really really suck at that game. But getting lost is half the fun! Be patient and eventually find your way. What part did you get stuck at? I think I'm gonna do a quick replay of Super Metroid before I get my copy of Other M. |

Really early on, I forgot the name of the place, but there is an abandoned ship there where you find a map and a bunch of doors that I can't open. I played for an hour. But do you ever get so annoyed that your back just starts feeling uncomfortably hot? Because that's what happens when I get frustrated at games. It was already hot outside too, so I got too uncomfortable and quit.

Also, I'm pretty sure I know what area you are talking about. Did you find the missile launcher? That's where it is. My Super Metroid replay is going well. I just got the Hi-Jump Boots.  EDIT: I just beat Kraid and got the Varia Suit. |

Actually I played again today after I got home from work. I got to the same area and fell asleep for about 5 minutes. Probably due to the fact that I have gotten a combined total of 5 hours of sleep the past two nights. Then I jolted awake and tried shooting that crate again and it broke apart and I got my missiles  Then I was amazed at how stupid I was for not trying to charge the beam first and then shoot it, istead of shooting at it without charging, deciding I must need a better gun to open it, and then getting frustrated and quitting. |
