Just finished Heavy Rain. Amazing. Absolutely loved it. I wish it was longer, though. I wanna keep playing.

I know, but a replay won't be quite as fresh as playing through it the first time, ya know? I already know who the killer is and a buncha other stuff.

^ what ending did you get? I accidently let Lauren die. (My favorite character. ) Ethan got locked up for most of the end of the game. Madison lived. Jayden got knocked into the garbage-grinder-thingy by Scott, who got away. Shaun survived.

For me (and i am remembering this from a while ago): All but Scott survived, for me Jayden won the battle of the grinder against Scott who fell into it. Ethan marries Madison and lives happily ever after with her and Shaun. Jayden survived the epilogue as i didn't give in to his Triptocaine addiction, and Lauren ends up at Scotts grave in the epilogue and spits on it.

That's kinda random. At least from what I saw in my play through.
And good for Lauren! She's my favorite character, so I was majorly pissed when I accidently let her die. She's also why I hated the revelation that Scott was the Origami Killer. I really enjoyed their relationship. BTW, your karma is at 1337.

My PS3 broke a few weeks ago (yellow light of death), and I took some pictures when I opened it up to try and fix it (which didn't work): I ended up just buying a new PS3. I was able to get my broken PS3 to work for a short while (involving a box, the PS3 upside down, and a blow dryer) to get my game saves off, which was good. I would have been devastated to lose 2 years worth of saves, and hundreds of hours.

How do you transfer saved games off a PS3 onto a second one?
I bought Batman Lego yesterday and been having fun playing it. Played for several hours and am only now onto the villians chapter in Episode 2

You need an external hard drive, which you then use the backup utility on the PS3. Then on the second PS3 you use the restore utility.

Couldn't you have removed the HDD from your broken PS3 and put in your new one? Seems simpler than something that "[involves] a box, the PS3 upside down, and a blow dryer".

Unfortunately no. When a HDD is taken from one PS3 and put in another, it is automatically formatted (erased) before it is usable in that PS3.

I heard it can end up breaking your 360 even more, so it really should be a last ditch effort. Unfortunately no. When a HDD is taken from one PS3 and put in another, it is automatically formatted (erased) before it is usable in that PS3. Really? Well, that sucks. I thought that worked. :/

^^ no what's the towel trick? You wrap several towels around your 360 tightly and turn it on for about twenty minutes. It gets so hot inside that broken solder points supposedly get resoldered and your Xbox will work again. I'd do some research before doing it, though. I've heard everything from it working like magic to it being pretty dangerous.

I just finished Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. I really, really loved it. It had a nice mix of simplistic combat and fun platforming that's reminiscent of The Sand of Time trilogy. The AI co-op between Monkey and Trip reminded me a lot of the Prince and Elika from 2008's Prince of Persia, but I think Enslaved pulled it off a lot better gameplay-wise. My favorite parts had to be when I got to use Cloud. So much fun. I think it added a nice change of pace without taking away from the primary gameplay elements, which I think can be a big problem for driving or vehicle sections in action games. I really enjoyed the characters and the performances of the actors (Andy Serkis, mocap master!). The story started off a bit slow, but I enjoyed it overall. The end was great. Kinda trippy.
I'd definitely recommend it. It's going for pretty cheap right now.

Deets on the new Tomb Raider game are in the new Game Informer (on shelves 12/11, but if you're a subscriber, you may already have it). Apparently, there's something like 10 pages of info! If you can't wait, check out some stuff on this HERE. More and more information is being gradually released.
