I loved Fallout 3, such a great game. I wish it wasn't so buggy though, as then it would be practically perfect. I'm really looking forward to New Vegas. Same i love fall out 3 , i just bougth the game of the year addition. Its really good. Do you know when New vegas is coming out ?. IIRC, the only thing announced is that it's coming out in late 2010.

How do you beat Adam on the Spike level? I haven't played the game in months because I got so darn frustrated with that level. I've been playing the PS2 Alias game lately. It's pretty fun and neat so far. It's awesome that the cast of Alias is actually the ones doing the voice overs, it makes it all the better. At 3 of the 4 walls there's a thingy where barrels drop down (stay in those areas) because when he's around those areas he'll go over and pick up one of those barrels and try throwing it at you, but before he does, throw an EMP grenade at him while he has the barrel over his head and when the grenade stuns him, he'll drop the barrel on himself and cause damage....i think it takes like five times and it should kill him. Keep on the run but don't get too much distance between you two cuz he then uses his machine gun and rocket launcher (which is not fun at all). Hope that helped! Thank you so much I will definitely be trying that out soon. *Karma* I had such an issue with that, I got so frustrated with that at times. There were a couple of levels where I was completely stumped at what to do, some ended up being so easy, that I felt so stupid afterwards, lol. I had a blonde moment in the hospital level with Sid the Dummy, lol, felt really dumb after that. One of the harder things to beat for me was Kakistos in the Faith level, that was a bitch, but overall a fun level.

The rest are a piece of cake in comparison. I'm not really a Tomb Raider fan, but I was somewhat intrigued by the announcement of a isometric, co-op centric, XBLA / PSN Tomb Raider game. Any opinions?

Weird. I don't know if I like it or dislike it. Lara doesn't work with spear throwing people!
I haven't played any Tomb Raider since 1 and 2 though, so I'm not that bothered. I'll only check it out if someone I know buys it and lends it to me.

Mine is a 60 GB, a little over half full. That's one reason why I like my PS3 better. I bought a Western Digital 400 GB HDD for $70 to replace the 120 GB one I took out of my Slim. Microsoft, on the other hand, wants me to pay $130 for their 250 GB hard drive that's releasing later this month.

Yeah this was quite the shocker. Fans were in an uproar because they thought this was the next official title, but it's just a side project while the main developers make TR9. I think it's a neat idea. Something different, co-op will be fun, and for an arcade-style game the environments are stunningly massive. Any new Lara is good Lara.

So, Steam is coming to Mac. As a Mac user, I guess this is pretty cool, but my crappy little Macbook doesn't have the specs to play much outside of old, freeware and casual games.

I'm excited about it. Since Valve's PS3 support has been epic crap, I'm happy that I can play Left 4 Dead 2 now. My McBook Pro can run Dragon Age rather well, so I'm hoping Left 4 Dead will as well.

I would too complain about Valve's crappy PS3 support, I'm not really sure what they've done that could qualify as "support". IIRC, the only game of theirs on the PS3 is The Orange Box which they just handed off to EA to have at it. I'm certainly not as expert, but I imagine that they could develop and release their games on the PS3 and turn a profit on them. That, combined with many of Gabe Newell's comments on the system, makes the corporation seem pretty fanboyish, although I do think supporting OS X is a step in the right direction.

Ever since the PS3's sales turned around last year, Gabe's done a lot of backpedaling in his comments about Sony. I wouldn't be surprised if the next round of Valve titles appeared on the PS3.

Really? I don't think I've read anything about that. I was kind of disappointed Portal 2 wasn't announced for the PS3, so if you're right hopefully it'll be announced later. So, Rock Band 3 was announced today. Personally, I don't care too much. I'm pretty sick of the rhythm genre. Sure, I'll occasionally pick up Rock Band 2 on the 360. Even more occasionally buy a song or two, but I don't think I'll be spending any money on a new game anytime soon.

Oh I hate Mothers Day right now. I might of treated myself to spending £40 on FFXIII, but I need to save up some money after Mothers Day. I always feel bad if I spend more than £30 on myself during the two weeks I'm not paid and I've already spent my £30 budget plus all of my moms gifts.
Next month I'll get Mass Effect 2 (It's already down to £26 pre-owned), then when I'm done with that Final Fantasy should be a more reasonable price.

I'm absolutely in love with Final Fantasy XIII so far. I had some major hesitation going in, but it exceeded my expectations in huge way. Love the characters, story and world. Everything's just perfect.
