Buffy Exiles?

This thread is a bit random, but bear with me. For years, I've thought that a Buffy comic with a similar premise to Exiles would be great fun. For those who don't know, Exiles is a Marvel Comics series, in which a bunch of random characters from different alternate universes team up. The stories saw the characters hopping through different timelines and universes, fixing reality "hiccups" in the hopes that they can return home at some point.

One of the best things about the series was that it took minor, undeveloped characters like Morph, Mimic, and Blink (most of whom are dead in the main continuity) and showed what their true potential was. In their home universe, these guys were just as important as Wolverine, etc. It was basically an endless "What If?" series, albeit with an ongoing narrative.

So transplant that premise to the Buffyverse. What characters - or variations of characters - would you like to see? Here are some suggestions...

• Buffy (from a universe where she became a vampire, and was chipped by the Initiative)
  
• Angel (from a universe where he remained a puppet permanently)
  
• Xander (from a universe where he came out as gay instead of Willow)
  
• Faith (from a universe where Buffy died in season three and Faith became leader of the Scoobies)
  
• Jesse (from a universe where Xander died instead of him)
  
• Illyria (from a universe where s/he was resurrected in Wesley's body rather than Fred's)
  
• Warren (from a universe where he joined the Scoobies in high school)
  
• Willow (from a universe where she became a vengeance demon in season four)
  

What would these characters be like? How would they relate to each other? What kind of threats would they face?

I don't see why Dark Horse couldn't publish something like this. Exiles proved it can work, fans are suckers for alternate universes, and it wouldn't affect the canon in the slightest. It would be harmless, and potentially very interesting.

I'd like to see a Kendra from a universe where Buffy died instead.
Or a Jonathan from a universe where he and Andrew switched roles

I also think this is a cool idea! Here are a couple I thought of:

• The Groosalugg (from a world where him and Cordelia did 'calmshuck' and now has prophetic visions)
  
• Anya (her original personality of Aud, where she loves Bunnies and giving things out to people for free)
  
• Cordelia (from a universe where she has fully learned her demon abilities, the whole light thing she has going on)
  
• Gunn (from a universe where he let himself be bit by his sister, the two of them now destroying things together [although, no incestuous undertones this time])
  
• Fred (from a universe where AI never came to Pylea, she has still managed to survive but is almost completely insane/feral)
  
• Spike (from a universe where he was never vamped and actually became a famous poet)
  

There's some of mine. Tried to do characters people haven't touched yet.

What about Darla from a universe where she was reensouled instead of Angel? Then, two-hundred or so years later, she could fall in love with Buffy!

I would love it if DH or IDW did a few 'Exiles' one-shots/Arcs.

*Cordelia (from a universe where The Powers That Be sent her back to earth after season 5.)
*Angel (from a universe where he was left human and Buffy died in season 1 of Angel.)
*Tara (from a universe where Willow got shot and not her.)
*Anya (from a universe where she and Willow fell in love.)
*Wesley (from a universe where he stayed with Buffy and Co after Giles died..)
*Faith (from a universe where she killed Buffy/Angel/Willow/Wesley and the Mayor never died)
