Title: Soul
Summary: Angel looses his soul when Wolfram & Hart summound a creature than steals souls. Faith is broke out of prison to stop him. Angel's soul is regained and he finds solice in Faith
Angel woke up grogily. His eyes seemed to be glued together. Everything was blurry and he felt disorientated.
"Where am i?" he asked grabbing his head.
"You room" a familiar voice said.
"Faith...is that you?" Angel said seeing the figure of a woman
"The one and only" she replied back in a quirky voice.
Angel looked around his room nothing had changed except there was a card on his desk reading HOPE YOUR NOT EVIL (AGAIN) LOVE CORDELIA X , he smirked while reading it.
"You were knocked out for a while , Wesley put something in my blood and when you got the bumpies and took a munch out of me , you collapsed , Willows put back your soul though. Faith told him.
"I did what.....Oh god this will be coming back to me later.
Angel lifted himself out the bed he looked at Faith she had cuts and she looked like she'd took one hell of a beating.
"Probley silly to ask but how are you?" Angel enquired.
"Five By Five" she replied , Angel smiled at her usual catchphrase , He was glad Faith wanted to seek redemption it was comferting knowing he wasn't the only one who was sorry for his past sins. Faith walked over to the kitchen in Angels room. She reached out the cupboard and found a mug saying 1# Boss.
Then she bent down to the fridge and found a jar of blood labbeled 0 POSITVE. She undid the lid and poured a glass , strolling back over she handed the glass to Angel in three large sips the blood was gone , Faith shuddered and held her neck. She had marks from where Angel had bit her. Angel could tell Faith felt awkward being around him the last time it was her who wanted him to be Angelus. She tried attempted to make Angel's soul be gone so that he would be her new boyfriend and kill Buffy.
"Im sorry" Angel said , he looked down at the bed doing his usual brooding face. Faith took off her jacket and sat down on the bed beside him. She breathed heavily. Angel wasn't wearing a t-shirt and she'd never seen his chest bare like that before. She was always jealous that he'd liked Buffy. He was such a gorgeous man. He was only handsome and wanted to do good. He had a dark side as-well one that Faith had experianced.
"Angel do you remeber when i asked you if things were different maybe we would of been...." She stuttered and didn't finish her question "It's stupid i shouldn't have asked im...sorry...iv'e got to go" Faith started to get up from the bed and turn away embarressed. "Stay" Angel said in a soft voice as he grabbed her arm and gently pulled her back down to the bed. Faith was shocked but didn't show it. Whenever she was "With" a guy it was only that one time and she would never make anything else of it but she felt differentley towards Angel , he had helped her more than once and knew what she was going through. But what about Buffy , Faith thought. She had already hurt Buffy once even when she was the only person that was ever good to Faith. Angel gave Faith a penetrating stare. His eyes were dark and beautiful. Faith wanted to kiss him but knew she shouldn't.
Angel bent over to Faith and locked his lips to hers. He manuvered himself so he was lying on top of Faith. His kiss started out soft but grew harder and more passionate. When he finally pulled away Faith gasped. "Wow" She said.
"Iv'e wanted to do that for a long time , iv'e always been attracted to you Faith" Angel said in a calm voice.
"You sure it wasn't a pity kiss for me saving your..."
Faith was interupted by another kiss. This time she straddled Angel and bent down to him.
Angel let out a growl , Faith pulled back , "It's the smell of your blood" Angel said ashamed. His face had changed his teeth had turned to fangs. His forehead has grown and his eyes had turned a violent yellow. "You should go , people shouldn't have to see me let alone be around me when im like this"
"I don't mind" Faith said looking at him , She bent down again and gave him a gentle kiss. "I want to be with you Angel this is just part of who you are and it doesn't matter you do good now you seek redemption , like me" Angel looked up at her and his face changed back to normal. He wrapped his arms around Faith and layed her down on the bed. Faith started to remove her top.
"Wait" Angel groaned "My soul....." Faith raised her eyebrows at him "Know how to kill the momment much" She jeered. "Look only Buffy can give you that perfect hapiness , and im not B , i can't give you perfect hapiness but you could settle for just happy right?" Angel brooded. "Think about it" Faith teased. She picked up her top and left the room.
Angel thought for a momment then pulled the covers off his bed. He walked over to his wardrobe , he laughed at his case of half nudity. "I wonder who undressed me" he said to himself , the corners of his mouth peeled up in a half smile. Angel opened the wardrobe and choose a black wool coat , a dark blue shirt , black trousers and a pair of smart shoes. He then walked over to his second cabinet and pulled out his favourite axe.
Angel walked down the stairs and found that the lobby of the Hyperian was a wreck. Wesley emerged from the office. "Ah Angel , Faith said to tell you she'll be downtown finding out more on the latest on our vampire problem" Wesley informed him. "Thanks Wes" , Wesley smiled in return.
The alleyways were cold and dark but Angel could see better in the dark so it wasn't a problem for him. a thin fog linned the air. Angel inhaled he could smell blood , human blood. He picked up the pace and ran down the alley and he turned a sharp corner he saw a girl. "Help me please" She gasped. Angel bent down to help her up , when she punched him in the face. Snarls came from behind. "Angelus" a burly vampire with a tattoo on his left cheek said. "It's just Angel now" Angel said growing angry. Twelve other vampires entered the alley and another two jumped down from the rooftops they all had the same marks on thier cheeks. "The order of Valkhamir want you to join us out leader said he's never known of a creature with a black of a heart as you" the vampire boomed. "Tell your leader im not interested in the creature of the night crew" , Angel threw the axe fast it whizzed through the air stopping in the vampires chested. "Your dea...." The vampire exploded into dust. The other vampires sprang into action. Angel put up a fight but there were too many of them.
A sharp whistle came from behind "Dogs over here" The vampires heads turned there yellow eyes glaring in fury. Angel stared up too. It was Faith she looked beautiful under the glow of the moon. Her hair blowing in the wind. She had stakes in her belt that fitted around her tight pants. The vampires charged at her but she was too quick. She threw the first vampire into a wall then staked him through the heart. The second jumped at her , Faith moved to the left , and pulled out a sword , decapitating the vampire. Angels face changed to it's demon form and he dusted some of the vampire nearer to him. When the fighting was over Angel ran over to Faith.
"You okay?" He asked.
"Five By Five" She winked.
"I want to show you something" Angel scooped her up into his large arms and started climbing up a rooftop. When he reached the top he put her down. Angel walked to the edge of the rooftop the moon glowed down. The night air let a gentle breeze blow in his hair.
"Nice view" Faith said casually
"I thought about what you said , and happyness is fine with me"
Angel put his hands on Faiths waist and pulled her closer. He bent his head down and their lips locked for the fourth time that night. Faith put her arms around his neck and stroked his head. The kisses grew harder. And Faith pushed Angel back to a wall. They slid down the wall. Faith unbuttoned Angels shirt and ran her hands across his chest. He was cold but his skin was perfect and smooth. Angel lifted Faiths top off , And she started kissing his neck. She saw his tattoo and traced the outline of it with her fingers. Angel undid his belt and put Faith under him. He could feel every inch of her body he stared at her beautiful face and kissed her again. They went through half the night , thier bodies locking.
"Your amazing" Angel said kissing Faith on the forehead.
"Your not to bad yourself for a creature of the night" Faith teased.
Angel proped his head against the wall , Faith slid into his arms and they both lay thier staring up at the moon.
