maybe something BIG happens and the Slayer line goes back to only one, plus, now Angel Season 6 coming, maybe it could get explained there too. The problem I'm having is: If Angel Season 6 takes place during what would be Buffy Season Nine, and Season Nine isn't official yet, is it possible that there would be Buffy tie-ins, or maybe it could become a new comic: Buffy and Angel. The Scooby Gang could always be on the other side of that mass of demons that Angel faces in Not Fade Away. I will really be ticked if there is an ANGEL S6 and no BUFFY S9

Where does it state that Angel S6 would be concurrent w/ Buffy S9? If anything I would think it would start before the beginning of Buffy s8 as Angel S5 didn't take a full year and a half.
The only time description I heard, was that it would be a "companion piece" to Buffy Season 8, so maybe they pick up 6 months after NFA just to run side by side.
Maybe you heard something I have not, but that is the way it seems to me.

I read that Joss says that Angel and Buffy will still exist in separate worlds, though Angel and Spike will appear in season 8. Personally, I'd like to see consistency in their two worlds being parallel and more crossover. I think that would make it a lot more interesting.

I actually think Joss started the season 8 comic so far after Chosen partly to make it at the same time to a possible season 6 of Angel.

Did Joss say that at the comic convention? About season 9 already being written and mapped out?
Also I think that if Joss wrote it like he has other storylines, if Buffy is the one that dies in conjunction with Fray it could be a suitable ending. And to me, it wouldn't take anything away from the Buffyverse. It would be like saying she fought all this time being the only one, then she wasn't, but she chose to. She didn't have to anymore, but she chose to.

Yeah Joss has confirmed it, he hasn't gotten to the writing stage yet but he has put together a plot line as to the big bad and what will happen. I believe that if Buffy dies saving the world, it will be a perfect way to end the series as I believed with the series 5 finale, 'The Gift'.
