There's a adult fanfic/fanart website called Taboo Comics that posts a pornographic version of Buffy called The Slayer, complete with the characters proper names and actor's/actresses likenesses in CGI. Normally I'd be ok with that except that they actually charge to view it and surely that must be illegal, Joss holds the rights to his creation and I can't really see him licencing this. Anyone know an address I can write to? (email or conventional mail)

First off, I think knowing how to contact Joss is something everyone wants to know.  Secondly, you might be better off contacting Fox as this seems more up their alley. I'm pretty sure it's Fox that owns the majority of the Buffy rights. Maybe they have a PR line that can redirect you to someone who could help. Also, this may technically be legal if it qualifies as a parody. |

It just serisouly has to be done. Because Faith was the opposite to Buffy and lets face it we all love a good spin off.

This is true, and why the porn industry gets to crank out all the parodies that it does. But this does sound more on the shady side, so there's a chance it won't qualify. Contacting FOX's legal department/PR people is probably a good way to start.

Sounds a little like an X-rated comic strip series someone did a few years ago all about vampire-Willow (funny as hell  ). Big difference there was that the author/artist wasn't making any money off them, which is the same reason we can all write fanfic. Yeah, I'd see about contacting Fox's legal department. They should be a lot easier to get ahold of than Joss, and even if he found out, that's who he'd turn it right over to, anyway. I'd love to contact Joss and Eliza Dushku to tell them to make Faith the vampire slayer! It just serisouly has to be done. Because Faith was the opposite to Buffy and lets face it we all love a good spin off. Joss and the rest of the Mutant Enemy team were all prepared to do just that back in 2003--even pitched it to the network. Eliza turned it down, and took "Tru Calling" instead. She was fine with playing Faith for a few episodes here and there, but it wasn't a role she wanted to make a career out of. |

Yeah, let's not link to anything inappropriate, or even discuss the content here in-depth. Just keep this thread strictly to discussion about contacting Fox's legal department, as that's the main purpose.

What? Eliza should of done Faith the vampire slayer , would of be awsome.
She could of done Tru Calling after that.
Theres a void that needs to be filled and Faith could fill it

The business doesn't work like that. And Dushku wanted to do something else, other than Faith (I think I read in a interview). |

I was thinking maybe they could of done it and got someone else to be Faith but then i thought , What are you thinking nobody else could be Faith.
Maybe Eliza would be up for doing it now.

I doubt that we will see any live action Buffyverse projects in the future. I get the feeling that ship has sailed. You are right, it would probably be a more stable career move for Eliza, but I bet that she wants to be challenged and grow, rather than step back in to a role that she originated 10 years ago. Dollhouse proved to me that Eliza can act; I hope that others in Hollywood noticed as well. |
