I'm giving Fred a lot of thought right now because I'm writing a story about her and Wesley. I think she represents the best of femininity, the way I like to see it. She's warm, loving, strong, adaptable, and a dreamer. I love the way all the men act to her too. What do you think? Do you like the way that Fred is feminine? Is there someone you think better represents this? What does being feminine mean to you? Do you think Joss Whedon intended Fred to be an icon of some kind judging by the way men react to her and the fact that she was "chosen" to become Illyria?
