Beautiful cover, but kind of a bland concept. I prefer the more humorous covers Jenny has done.

Really like this cover. The background design is cool and I love how she placed Angel and Illyria. Great to see her finally get a cover.

Meh. I have given up on collecting the single issues tbh. I do still however keep up to date on the TPB's or hard covers. i find it much easier to keep on track with what stories are going on and what order they should be read in. Seemed like after AFTER THE FALL, IDW spawned off a ton of mini series and seperate issues and what not: Blood and trenches, boys and their toys, the dru 2 issue arc, the one with gunn, illyria and the scourage (kind of sounds like a Friends episode ha ha) and the one about Team Angel's life being turned into a movie. . . I'm sure there was some more out there but there was just a lot going on to collect that I just gave up and decided to go all out on the TPB's. Anyone else doing this?    |

Can't wait to see what Willingham does by putting Illyria in the spotlight. Unless this is just for the cover in which case nice cover.

I really like the cover as well. Jenny does a great job texturizing her border/background images. I would like to see her do another cover like the #29 cover though, something more dynamic.

I agree generally about getting more unique concepts like the one for #29, but I don't mind a cover where Illyria is staring into my soul.  Hold me.  |

I'm doing that too because it is super confusing to keep track of all this little issues. But I'm still confused about what or how are they going to set up the hc for this issues. I wish I could understand why folks think it's difficult to keep track of the main title and the minis, but it's harder for me to understand than chemistry was. And let me tell you. Chemistry? Whew.

I think that sounds funny! XD Sounds like a typical Spike thing to do, cant wait to see what weird prophesies he has written about himself.....and Angel's reaction should be funny too.
