Pretty spoilerish pics for eps 2.07 and 2.08 can be found HERE. If you've read the plot summary, it may not come as much of a surprise.

Still digesting as I go... but holy crap... Echo's got the coolest super-powers ever. Being able to recall every imprint at whim... that's pretty nifty. Kinda like Alpha... but better, since she isn't psycho. What's great about this ep is that all the little landmarks placed before are finally coming to the surface, and as a viewer, it's all paying off. All the little clues as to what's going on in Echo's head are finally connecting, and seeing Echo as a fully realized person, not just a Doll, but a real person is pretty mind-blowing. She isn't just a Doll running about with access to her past imprints; she's a real person who remembers all these things.

When Dollhouse got cancelled, I wasn't surprised, but still upset. That feeling passed quickly. Now... I'm upset again, even more so then when I first read it was cancelled. This was just too good. Dollhouse has hit a creative high, and I'm into more than I have been since the premiere. Sure, the main story of Echo helping the girl wasn't the most exciting, but jeez all the character stuff was just top notch. Echo wasn't really a character I was interested in, I cared about her mostly just because of how helpless she was. Now with The Left Hand, and these two episodes, she is one of my favorites. Paul was a character I've despised for a long time, but that changed this episode. Really loved how the mythology expanded this episode, and got us a lot closer to the events in Epitaph One. Holy Topher and Adelle greatness, especially Adelle. Just when you think she's changing... "OH MY GOD SHE'S A ZOMBIE!"

Anyone else's broadcast screw up? It was like a torture glitch that lasted for like twenty minutes. I was so freaked out I even climbed dangerously to my satellite to make sure snow wasn't just interferring. Seeing as I'm alone and have been since, I'm very glad that I never fell.

There were reports of sound dropping out throughout the two hours, and some video glitches as well. But oh man. Meet Jane Doe might be one of my favorite episodes of Dollhouse ever.

I was so freaked out I even climbed dangerously to my satellite to make sure snow wasn't just interferring. Seeing as I'm alone and have been since, I'm very glad that I never fell. I was watching on cable and there were quite a few video and audio glitches and dropouts. I thought it was my local station acting up, but maybe there was a problem with the signal from the network. As for the show, I just love Plug-n-Play Echo! I predicted (and hoped) a long time ago that she'd end up like this. No more hapless, submissive Dolly getting wiped every week. You know... if I was from Texas, I might get a little annoyed with how Texans are always depicted as pig-ignorant bigots on TV shows. Squeal like a pig, boy! It was a pretty good ep. Not as good as last week's stuff, but very good.

Right from the first moment of this episode, i felt the quick witted script. This episode was honestly, perfectly flawless in the end. Possibly my favorite episode of the series so far. When she said 'blue skies' and turned "TAFFY" on in the jail cell, I died! I love the direction the show is going. I still have hope that dollhouse ends up a movie like firefly and serenity. That way the writers can at least punctuate the series in a wholly different, and even more epic way. It would still have the same ideas with the same writers. They could write a kick-ass movie from this material. Just LOOK at the masterpiece that is the marriage of firefly & serenity. o well. Yeah, loved these two episodes soo much more than last week.

Okay, this was a good episode. But I felt like the dialogue missed the mark and that some of the scenes dragged on a bit awkwardly. Conceptually, this episode has some amazing stuff going on (re: Echo's evolution, Adelle and Topher in the Dollhouse), but the execution was off. After the epicness of Belonging and the Left Hand, this was a little disappointing.
I enjoyed parts of it very much, but it was a dip in quality imho from the last run of episodes.
So good, but not great like MotS, A Spy in the House of Love, Belonging and The Left Hand.

I was thinking that too...very awesome....but the headaches and deterioration of the brain doesn't seem so nice to have. I LOVED the scene when Sierra and Victor were hand shaking in celebration and then start making out.

I totally didn't get that she was supposed to be gone three months. Seemed like a day. The Dollhouse parts were great, the prison parts just blah really.

I totally didn't get that she was supposed to be gone three months. Erm... the three months that passed was noted by the text that read "Thee Months Later".

Yeah, but the transition was still jarring. I don't think they established the time change all that well in-story. It was awkward to me.

I wanted to see more of Echo living like a tramp and stealing food. That was cool.

Yeah, but the transition was still jarring. I don't think they established the time change all that well in-story. It was awkward to me. Not arguing execution, just that it was literally stated that 3 months had passed. But then again, I'm totally okay with a year and a half passing between "Chosen" and "TLWH", so time gaps don't faze me. In fact, I really liked how Adelle was suddenly demoted; the characters are still reeling and we're left feeling the same way. In other words, that whole jarring thing is just life imitating art... or was it the other way around?

If Dollhouse wasn't already cancelled, the three month gap would have me asking "why". And I agree with Isabelle that seeing Echo on her own longer would've been cool, but I loved how the gap pushed the story forward and it worked in the character's favor. With five episodes left, I want as much story and closure as possible.
Also, Maurissa Tancharoen deserves another shout out as Kilo. I'm loving the test dummy gag.
