--------------------------- I saw the Blu-Ray version of Serenity today, at Walmart. I just bought a Blu-Ray player, and figured I'd buy it. Seems to have some extra features, and a much nicer quality. Can't wait to watch it later. I own the original DVD as well, but was just so tempted to buy the better copy. Who else owns this version? Is it better in your opinion? Better sound, picture, extras?

I only own 10 or so Blu-Rays, but I think Serenity looks the best out of all of them. The lighting is some of the best I've seen in a movie, and it's just jaw-dropping in high-def. The couple new features are pretty cool, I especially liked the Picture-in-Picture. It's full of interviews that weren't seen in the two DVD editions.

This is definitely a reference quality Blu-Ray. The picture and audio quality are top notch, plus it's one of the best movies ever made to boot. One of my favorites in my ever growing Blu-Ray collection.
Firefly got a pretty good release as well, although the PQ isn't top notch, considering it is an 8 year old TV series. The Blu-Ray version is the best we'll ever see the show look though, and it looks great compared to DVD.

I just watched this last night, and loved it; Like every time! ;D
The quality was amazing, and I plan on watching all of the extras tonight.
My six year old brother watched the whole film with me(Shockingly), and he was all into it, he loved it! And he wants to watch it again tonight. xD Here's starting to make him a Browncoat!
