What If Faith did actually turn Angel bad during Enemies?

I think that Faith would of killed Buffy in the rooftop fight.
Or Graduation Day would of gone ahead, and Faith & Buffy would
fight and Faith would pull the body switch. Then when it went dark Angelus & a gang of vampires would like try to take out
the students. And they would suceed, and then Sunnydale would
just be a big mess, and Faith would be the Chosen one.
But i wonder if The Mayor would still be a big snake thing, or if
he could turn back human if he wanted???

Just wondering, cause my friends writing a fan fic, and she
wanted to get other peoples oppinnions.

If Faith had help from Angelus to kill Buffy on the rooftop maybe. The Ascention would definitely be more likely to have gone down. However why the body swap? The Mayor gave her that because she was a fugitive and the world wouldn't accept her so Buffy should get that burden instead of Faith. In a different world where the ascention actually takes place, would that be necessary? I think it works either way, especially if written well into a fic, but just thought I'd see the angle.

I also get the impression that The Mayor wasn't supposed to be able to switch back to human form, but in the case of storytelling I think that would be a great idea to put in to it, because I'm assuming it would be rough to have him be a giant snake while having an emotional scene with Faith.

If Faith had successfully turned Angel in "Enemies," there would have been no NEED for the rooftop fight -- remember, that fight happened when Buffy went to try to kill Faith so that Angel, afflicted by a mystical poison, could be cured by draining her blood.

The mayor might have been harder to stop with Angelus as an ally. But then again, maybe not by that much. He had plenty of vampire minions anyway, and while Angelus certainly was stronger than the average vampire, Buffy and the Sunnydale High students still might have been able to overwhelm them with sheer weight of numbers (and explosives).

So it's possible -- even likely -- that things would have gone down very close to the same way. If they didn't, and the mayor succeeded at achieving ascension, it's hard to guess what would have happened. Unlike many other villains, the mayor's plans really didn't seem to extend that far beyond himself. It's really not clear what role Sunnydale and its inhabitants played in his plan after ascension, except for the fact that he wanted them around to snack on in the first few hours. Maybe he wanted to rule Sunnydale as Olvikan, or maybe Sunnydale was just the means to and end and he was going to go live on another plane. It's really never made clear.

i didn't think the mayor could change back and forth between snake and human. i thought ascension meant he'd become a big snake and would destroy the world as a big snake.

Is there a reason for the Mayor to destroy the world?
SOme villians don't have motives, what about him?

If Angel is turned, i would thought that Buffy would kill him again!,and with faith it has pr oven that Buffy best her once in that season, so i think Buffy would have no problem of killing them both..But would Buffy kill Faith? If it was a different situations.
