Hey Gang, Do you have questions for Dark Horse Comics, the publisher for Buffy Season Eight? Ask here! After about two weeks, all questions will be compiled and later answered. Go! *Remember, the less spoiler-ish the questions are the more likely that they will be answered. Limit two questions per person.

OMG cool, how about will Michelle Madsen be a permenant colour artist on the season 8 comics as I have heard this somewhere, however, the colorist for issue 12 is back to Dave Stewart? Confusing much?

Okay I have two questions.
Will the Warren/The First issue be addressed? As in him appearing as a being that can only appear as dead people, then coming back and never having died in the first place. Will Joss write an explanation in the comics to tie it into continuity? Or should we just accept it was a bigish mistake.
And
Can you give a tentative list of the writers who are coming up? Is there any chance of getting other Buffy writers like Marti Noxon, who expressed an interest, or David Fury or Rebecca Rand Kirshner?

I think the DH rep is Scott Allie and we've already asked him about a videogame for Season Eight. He says he has absolutly nothing to do with video games.

I like to think that Warren did in fact die for a moment when Willow skinned him. Then he was brought back by amy's magic. That way he coul dappear both as the first and as Warren in season 8. Look at the first in season 7. It spent the majority of it's time as Buffy and she was brought back from the dead so, it would work for Warren too!

Can you confirm or ask Joss to confirm whether the Buffy decoy seen in The Girl In Question that was again mentioned in The Long Way Home part 1 was actually dating The Immortal? Can this be explained further? Thanks. I know this may be a little far-fetched but I think of Warren as a zombie. When Willow flayed him alive, I believe that Warren's spirit moved on into the afterlife and that Amy saved his body but was too late to save him. Therefore, she used magic to keep him undead as a zombie, his cells being alive again in a way with magic. Although, Amy doesn't want to tell him because she doesn't want to make him upset or angry so she lied saying she actually saved him from death. Also, being a zombie would explain why he's SO much more aggressive and why The First can appear as him. Also, being trapped underground for a year and half would make anyone go mad. It's just the way I look at it.

How close is the link between 'season eight' of Buffy and the Fray comics? Also, how certain is a Fray follow up?
Since we got an arc that focussed pretty closely on Faith, will we be seeing arcs/stand-alones that hone in on other characters who exist on the outside of the core Scooby gang? I'd love an Andrew character study. I'd love to write an Andrew character study.
Lame, shiny-paper-loving-obsessive-compulsive question: how likely is a hardback special edition 'season eight', in the style of the omnibuses? (Omnibusi?)
Also, keep up the good work. It's taken me a little while to get onboard with the comics, but they're warming up into something really exciting.

How many issues of S8 will there be?
And...
Will Kendra (the Vampire Slayer) make an appearance at all this season? Just 'cause she's dead doesn't mean she's out.

I have a bunch of questions, hope at least one of them is gonna get answered.
1) Any plans for a BTVS-Season 8 [comic] spin-off yet? We've seen that this season is really huge, but there are plenty of secondary storylines that fans wish to explore - like Faith's.
2) Now that both BTVS and ATS have proven to be huge successes, and that fans are still hungry for more Buffyverse, any chance for Buffy in other medias? Videogames, TV-show (i'm an optimist), books?
3) Any hope Buffy will become a full, ongoing DarkHorse franchise like Star Wars?
4) When are Marti Noxon, David Greenwalt and Jane Espeson going to write their own standalone/arc?
5) Anya.

Well,my question is an obvious one Any plans for bringing Glory back? We don't know what happened to her after Giles killed Ben.I think it'd be interesting if she came back to Earth to ruin Buffy's life, after living in hell for 1000+ years as a slave. Thanks.

Will Joss write an explanation in the comics to tie it into continuity? Or should we just accept it was a bigish mistake. Joss has already addressed this in the letters column. It was a mistake, so he says Warren died for 4 seconds. (It may have been less than 4, but I think it was 4).

There have been Buffy books for a VERY long time ( see www.btvs-angel-authors.moonfruit.com/books , but be forewarned the site is undergoing major construction and by giving that link I just opened all the pages up for viewing... oops) but the last ever Buffy book supposedly came out Jan. 1st, 2008. I happened to snag an autographed copy And we are hopefully getting a RIPPER Tv-Movie soon. 3) The Buffy comics were a full franchise for years, but ended. 5) Joss confirmed Anya will be coming back at the SDCC 07 when a fan yelled "Anya?!" and Joss said "Yes..." Will phantom Dennis be making an appearance (Cordy's ghostly room-mate) in the comics? In BUFFY? Doubtful.

Exactly how long has it been since Chosen?
Is there a possibility of a Buffy/Angel crossover comic?
