Becoming Pt 2. A friend had it taped off TV. I had no idea what was going on, but I was instantly in love with it.

Oh, it was a season 1 episode, but I can't remember it. The next episode I remember seeing was Where the Wild Things Are (the scene where Buffy and Riley were having sex), but a full episode for me was possibly Lover's Walk

The first full Buffy episode I watched was Surprise. It was during the two-night event where BtVS was switching from Monday nights to Tuesday nights.
Before that ep I'm sure I caught snippets of earlier episodes but Surprise was the first one I watched from start to finish.

I have vague memories of catching a few minutes of a Season 7 Buffy episode while switching channels. It was one of the scenes where the Potentials are training.
My first full episode, though, was "Welcome to the Hellmouth," when I started watching it on Hulu.
There's another question -- where and how did you see your first episode? Was it in first-run? Hulu? DVD? Watching it by yourself, or with someone else?

My first episode was "Witch", when it fist aired in Denmark in the fall of 1997, and it was love at first sight. I taped each and every episode since:o)
What first pulled me in, was Sarah Michelle Gellar in her cheerleader uniform - I was a teen boy after all - but I instantly liked all the characters and the storyline.

Welcome to the Hellmouth when it originally aired. While watching it I was doing math homework. And I didn't become an instant fan, it wasn't until later the show started to really impress me. And to think that was 13 years ago already...

My first episode was What's My Line Part 1 as it first aired. I didn't get to watch Part 2 the next week because my family went on vacation the next day. I remember being all pissed off about it because I wanted to know who Kendra was. But... I eventually got back into Buffy when it was starting its seventh season. I had been watching Buffy reruns on FX during this time.

Buffy vs Dracula. Still think that's one of the best episodes ever.

I actually don't remember the first episode I saw (which makes me sad. ) I think it might have been an ep from S1; The Harvest, perhaps? My best friend had all the eps recorded on tape. One day when I was hanging out at her house she just popped one in the VCR and we started watching. I don't think I'd heard of the show before then, but she was telling me all about how great it was. Immediately I was hooked and from then on I started recording the eps (well, until the first DVDs came out and then I didn't need to anymore. This was freshmen year of HS and I believe the summer before S3 was to start; not positive, though. So yeah. My BFF got me into Buffy During freshman year of HS and we are still BFFs today. All these years later Buffy is still something we love dearly and bond over. I am so grateful to her for introducing me to what would become my favorite show in the universe.

Welcome to the Hellmouth, when it originally aired. And I remember wanting to watch it so I could mock it horribly because I hated the movie. (I remember thinking the idea for the movie sounded so cool, but I wasn't impressed with the movie when it came out.) Now I mock myself for ever wanting to mock the show because it became my favorite show ever.

Pretty sure it was Gingerbread. Me and my sister randomly found it while flipping through channels and I thought it was hysterical. My sister kept up with it. I didn't. Then she eventually got the Chosen Collection, and I decided to watch through it. What an awesome choice I made.

Welcome to the Hellmouth! My friend had Buffy videos and I decided to watch some of them when I was house sitting for her as she was obsessed and I had never seen it. I watched most of series one but then didn't watch again for a while, until the started repeating them all on sky and I was at another friend's house and I got completely taken in by it and my obsession began

The first episode I saw was The Gift. And I think it was by accident. I'm pretty sure I couldn't find my remote that day. My obsession didn't begin though until Spuffy at the end of Smashed. I went crazy for what seemed like forever waiting on the aftermath. I saw Bargaining when it first went to UPN. And I saw Tabula Rasa when it first aired, but I think I just couldn't find the remote again. lol.
