Which character has the better fighting style?
Buffy) Her fighting abilities is very fast , I like how she uses her essence of speed to out run her enemies. Her strength is very strong and if she uses her emotion then her strength goes upgraded. She uses her environment very well. Her durability and technique is superior then any character in the show. Her experience is far greater than any slayer. Faith) Faiths abilities, she strong but lacks in the speed and the experiences...Which puts Faith in advantage, but then again her character depth?, she uses her emotion better than any character. To me Faith fighting style is like street. Very slow but brutal. Spike) His abilities are fast, his experience also high fighting against Buffy and his technique killed two slayers in his life time. His strength is high but not the highest. He is capable of showing of his true abilities. Angel) He came across stronger and fiercer when he is Angelus.

It's interesting with those four characters because Buffy and Angel have similar fighting styles and then Faith and Spike have similar fighting styles, so they're divided and paired.
As you pointed out, Buffy has a very good technique, she's creative, uses and adapts to her environment and is trained by Giles. Angel is similar, he trains, his fighting style is calculated and he too uses his environment and adapts to it.
Both Faith and Spike tend to let their emotions rule when it comes to fighting - they both go all out, jump right into the fray and revel in it. It can put them at an advantage at first, because they're so unconventional and go all out, but in long fights this could mean that they burn out too quickly.
So, I think Buffy technically has the best fighting style, but I actually like watching Faith and Spike fight more, because they're so entertaining.

Totally agree, yes Angel and Buffy have similar abilities of fighting but Buffy is stronger then Angel. Buffy abilities are little better then Angel, it proves it in the show that Buffy defeated Angel numerous times. And Faith uses her emotion , i agree she the only character who uses it very violently..But the show proves that numerous occasion that Buffy use her emotion and it gives he power.. I think Buffy entertaining to watch because she fast and epic.

Angel was more hardcore and brutal when he fought. Buffy was more flashy. Both were very fun to watch.

Not sure, I noticed that Buffy could be quite vicious at times and Angel was only really nasty when he was Angel without a soul. Spike had a good straight forward style, he was hard and nearly always went in for the kill (never felt that he ever really tried to kill Buffy.

I had the expression Spike tryed to kill Buffy, but Buffy was too good for him. She had the upper hand in what my line part 2 and Halloween and harsh day of light also in smashed and even sleeper. I agree Spike fighting style is straight too the point.
